Odd paladin not aggro... Man, did I laugh out loud!
I said "half of them are not aggro", read carefully next time.
Make Sercret Pally GREAT AGAIN!
Loving The verity of people releasing cards.
I play mostly wild but I always assume people are talking about standard. Right now secret paladin isn't ever seen because it's too fair, but this card is probably a 1-of in the deck. Could be good AOE protection after Call to Arms.
This has a lot of potential, especially if they expand on general heal Paladino techs. More minions having more health means more targets to heal. Of only that added a minion for Paladino which heals its allies (Like the shaman healing totem).
Secret or odd paladin, wow! Health is SO good in a mirror match to trade efficiently, maybe even allowing your board to survive a big board clear
Wow another super cheap card to try to push pally into aggro yet again, instead of any other playstyle. How surprising.
every paladin card in rastakhan rumble were control and value cards
One expansion out of how many previous expansions where aggro was the forced playstyle?
All Paladin secrets cost 1?
Yeah but that's not the point of my comment. Outside of the old midrange pally strat of using a secret to revive something big like Tarim or returning Tarim or something secrets are almost always exclusively aggro cards. The class has other playstyles too outside of aggressive and wasting more cards on cheap stuff like secrets reduces the chance the class will be anything other than the fotm aggro variant class.
my dude, this year we had lots of paladin archetypes played at high legend:
half of them are not aggro and require 1 or 2 key class cards (mechano egg, kangor, uther, shirvallah) that are not in the classic set. what im trying to say is that you dont require a whole bunch of cards to make a non-aggro archetype to work
what are you even talking about, there are literally more healing cards in paladin than in priest.
stop complaining build your own control paladin if you wanna play it.
Counter board clear... Even if opponent has coin sometimes...
A solid card by design. Where this card will shine is in the pro format if a minion heavy Paladin build exists. Good card to have in that kind of alternative deck to reduce the impact of board clearing.
Let me explain why this card is trash, a card that's specifically better Autodefense matrix is not being run. Why would this see play?
Because all your minions get +2 healh opposed to just one getting a divine shield? The secrets are not even similar.
This is good secret design. Its a strong effect under specific conditions that help clue in opponents into what secret it might be and theres ways for an opponent to play around it but it still forces them to make sub optimal plays.
I wish i could play this secret in other multiplayer games
