'Woow'
this can easily replace Cenarius in a token druid deck and if token druid is gonna be the monster that i think it is then you can probably afford to have both in the deck. I'm also interested for the choose card they will release to give this card even more options.
Wild Aggro Druid would love this card. Having cards like Living Roots and Power of the Wild able to summon more minions or buff your minions multiple times is quite huge. A huge boost for the archetype.
Oh Fandral Swaghelm, how I haven't missed you.
What if the card is 'choose one: of these 3 options'? Example: Branching Paths
That card reads 'choose twice', not 'choose one', so it doesn't work.
It won't do anything with Branching Paths, as that isn't a Choose One spell. Same reason Staghelm does nothing with Branching Paths.
All Choose One cards that have more than 2 options are minions and this only works with spells, so there is no issue with the word both.
Shiet mate now you feel stupid
Branching Paths is a "Choose Twice" card. This came up before with a now Wild-exclusive card called Fandral Staghelm. I'd assume it works with all "Choose One" spells, not Branching Paths.
If anyone is wondering about this guys' story, it looks like he's based on Crystalsong Forest, which has Dryads that were turned into living crystal. This is the first example of a Keeper of the Grove being affected, but it's a nice nod to an obscure bit of lore.
Also, that's noteworthy since Crystalsong is in Northrend. Kalecgos and Nomi are from the Broken Isles version of Dalaran. I guess they're doing a fusion of the two rather than any specific period.
Eh, Kalecgos is from way more than that. He was a corrupted boss back in Sunwell in TBC. Has been the Blue Aspect since Cata and served as such in Dragon Soul. He just most recently got used as an archmage in Dalaran for Legion.
I know all that, but he wasn't in Dalaran itself until Legion.
Thiiis is why the choose one spells got new artwork.
I thought no one was going to talk about it.
I really wish this worked with minions too. You have no idea how much I want Wardruid Loti to fill my hand with Dinosaurs.
Oh...I thought this was an epic :/ eh, whatever
epic? no way !
I wonder what happens when i play this card + Wrath (or any other spell) while Fandral is on board?
Because of Fandral it will be 4 damage + draw a card for sure
But what cards will be added to hand?
Two copies of "4 damage + draw a card" or "3 damage and 1 damage + draw a card"?
no
@calico I wouldn't be so sure.. some of the interactions with Fandral are pretty surprising so blizz might be creative with this one too.
They made the choices into actual cards a while back. So I think you will get a copy of each "choice card" either way.
The "both effects" thing is not it's own card, so I doubt they are going to give that.
You'll still get a card for each option and cast them combined.
