it's like there are no cards that would buff these imps. it's also like there wont be anymore expansions after this to release other cards that buff previous cards. it's like they've never released part of a meta defining set and backed it up 1-5 expansions later to fully realize said meta card. yea blizzard doesnt know what they are doing. /s
I see Omega devastator = more combo for Wrathguard + Treachery in wild
How does a warlock get the devastator?
Omega Devastator is a Warrior card
by playing a shifter zerus obviously
When blizzard can't even spell
Well it's grammar rather than spelling, but good catch! Totally didn't see that.
Good eye, didn't notice they forgot the word "to".
it's actually a spell
Rafaam's scheme seems really underwhelming: for example, they just printed Dragonmaw Scorcher which is a natural counter even if you summon seven Imps. In any case, dealing 1 damage AOE is not that difficult for most of the classes and the card's payoff is not that relevant for Warlock: the only upside I can see (even if it's really stretched) is Grim Rally, but... yeah I don't know.
The other two seem to be at least decent (the Warrior spell remembers me a bit Blood To Ichor, but new you need one more mana for board presence)
Forbidden ritual is a very similar card, and there were zoo decks built around it for quite a while. Dragonmaw scorcher is a generally low impact tech card to put in a deck that doesn't have other ways to utilize the effect or care that it is a dragon.
I think they gave warlock a scheme that isn't quite as scary because it is a lot easier for slow warlock decks to hold and draw cards than any other class. I also don't imagine this seeing any play in zoo because of having to hold it in hand, but the payoff is there. At 4+ imps summoned this is a good card for a zoo deck.
It’s possibly a full board in 1 card for 3 mana. at its worst it’s aoe bait which still has value. I think it’ll see plenty of play
Discovering Omega devastator with Dr. Boom, Mad Genius looks pretty strong.
For Omega Assembly too.
Witchwood call back: Probably echo.
LoE call Back: Hope it's gonna be an highlander card for the wild players.
K&C: A new spellstone?, A new legendary weapon?
Definitely no legendary weapon maybe rogue will get a spellstone but there is almost no way to be sure, also anything is possible for league of explorers can't wait for that!!!
Rafaam already was our LoE callback. Golden Monkey.
I mean, I guess they could give Warlock some Discover effects. That's not really an LoE mechanic anymore though.
Yeah agree it probably won't be a legendary weapon, but would be cool!
I don't think thats is true, otherwise they would say something about it in the video, as he did about Forbidden Word.
Reno Jackson was the first no duplicate cards in the game, so that was a new mechanic. Mechanic is not equal to Keyword, put that in mind.
