I see many Chillwind Yeti in standard... Maybe somewhere in wild rank 50 this is happening, but not in standard for sure. But as I said this Omega Devastator may see its play at least as card from discovery. Maybe it may see in some control warrior play. But it is not ultimately powerful. First 9 turns it is playing as just 4/5 body, which no one need actually. Dyn-o-matic is much better, because it can play every turn. But in general it is not bad card, but definitely not OP.
And to be honest improve morale as an execute activator? Are we playing in the same game. If someone want to do that, why they wouldn't just use Inner Rage until now. Give me at least one deck in which someone use inner rage as activator (and of course it is not fun deck, cos in them we can play even quest hunter). Only good thing here is lackey, but I doubt that control warrior care for them that much.
Rafaam's scheme will see no play. Zoolock don't need it. We already have card summon 4 imp for 4 mana. It is a bit worst, but noone even try to play it. Warlock may see no play in next expansion after a lot of cards rotate, but for sure it wont be lock on tokens. There was a lot of spam tokens cards in lock for past few years, how much of them saw some play? Of course they may release some imba, OP card for lock which will make them play but whatever. It doesn't make this card any better right now.
It's very bad because removals isn't what you need after turn 10. You need to accomplish your win condition and kill your opponent. A 4/5 for 4 mana with no effect isn't good enough for constructive. It's not good against fast decks because you just have a yeti until turn 10. And then it's not good enough to be a win condition against control decks in the late game.
That's what makes it a very very very bad card overall.
Crowd Roaster sees Omega Devastator and cries...
Realistically, Crowd roaster is still much better in any deck that runs dragons. The fact that you can use it on turn 7 against aggressive decks is much more important than the 3 less damage. 7 is enough in 99% of cases where you'd want to use Omega Devastator.
They're both good cards and will see play in their respective decks IMO.
I fell asleep watching these cards
I zoned out staring at those ears...
Bored cards.
Such incredible sygnery between Rafaam's Scheme and Archvillain Rafaam!
You put Rafaam's scheme in your deck - You draw it and never want to play it - You play Rafaam that changes it into a Random Legendary - Profit!
Seriously, flooding the board with imps is the worst possible scheme I can imagine, even if you didn't have to wait so many turns just for them to be cleared by any AOE in the game.
Edit: found another synergy with it and Spirit of the Bat + Hir'eek, the Bat! You play the scheme and the spirit and leave only Hir'eek in hand - opponent clears the imps but not the spirit - Next turn you fill the board with 6/6 for 8 mana - opponent brawls or twisting nethers - you concede. Easy.
Next please.
Rafaam's Scheme + Grim Rally? Anyone?
How many imps do you plan to have? Are you leaving it in your hand for 6 turns? Would you not just rather play actual creatures and find the least valuable (like, any lackey, for example) to sacrifice?
it is the same thing as Hir'eek, the Bat + Grim Rally for lower cost and different minion tag. But you need to play 6 turns after you draw Scheme to get Hir'eek value. oh and guess what? You can Handbuff Hir'eek.
And Hir'eek saw no competitive play because of the shape of the meta. If Rafaam's Scheme will rise in next meta I think Hir'eek, the Bat will shine more.
2:08 Hex is cost 3 mana, because... this expansion is ready for quite time. They tested this expansion way before the Hex mana change. HS is way ahead us, guys.
Take me up with you!
they said that ages ago that they work on 2 expansions ahead, so most likely this expansion has been in the works or maybe even in a testing stage around the time Boomsday was being released
Hex was nerfed during Knights of the Frozen Throne. There's no way they were recording footage for this expansion at that time.
Is Hex getting... reverted?
Hex won't be reverted. Blizzard is just a small indie company that's why they messed up in the video.
oh wow, I didn't realise it was that long ago that Hex was nerfed :|
they must've been testing some stuff and were using some dev client version
At least artwork looks decent.Effects are kinda meh.
Does E.V.I.L stands for Empathic Vile Ingenious League?
no, because then it would be
"the league of empathic vile ingenious league" and thats dumb
