Oblivitron isn't nearly as bad it looks like and I feel safe to say that just because of Galvanizer. That guy basically allows you to get our bigger mechs out sooner while you can build a non-mech related deck around it (Spells + Zul'jin maybe, couple of secrets, Subject 9 for draw which makes big swings easier to assemble.
Run it with 2 Whelps and Mecha'thun to up your chances of getting a big body out, add some Firework techs and spider bombs for more flexibility and done. COuld even run Goblin Prank, it's not even a bad card
This works well with Goblin Prank and Mechathun tracking to help thin the deck might be neat.
Hey Flux or any other mod the sees this... what happened to the "Discuss This Card" links that used to be under new card reveals?
Finally Hearthstone revealing new cards themselves without the middlemen. Thank you !
Oblivitron synergises well with:
Mechanical Whelp Damaged Stegotron Weaponized Pinata and Bull Dozer
Its not playable in standard right now since Big mech hunter is not even a deck, but the effect is actually decent enough if it gets a lot more support.
Not for combo purposes, but mechathun is also nice it's a 10/10
also has synergy with Spider Bomb I mean.. 3/4 for 6 deathrattle destroy a random minion and summon a 2/2 from your hand isn't that bad, also zilliax isn't such a bad pull, I doubt decks using big mechs will drop out perfection guy for bigger results.. zilliax is too good.
This + Mecha'thun for just 6 mana is just insane... Way better than Warrior's 9 mana summon Mecha'thun.
All these idiots who think they are clever saying: bUt MeChA'ThUn wOn'T diE!!!!!!
Of course it won't, but that's why you have 4 mana left (or even 6 under right circumstance) to kill it.
The effect is a deathrattle, so you can safely play it in fatigue and win
Even if you were able to pull all of that of, mecha'thun in druid and warlock is still better.
good luck emptying both your hand and deck as HUnter and not die int he process
No shit, of course Warlock and Druid is better, but in next rotation they don't exist in standard.
This is just begin of Mecha'thun Hunter, and at start of Year of the Dragon weak cards are going to see play.
Warrior's 9 mana Mecha'thun combo is an OTK. This isn't.
Mechathun Hunter wont work because it doesnt have draw. Tracking is the single card which emptys the deck by a bit so, forget Mechathun hunter, pls.
it doesn't matter whether Warlock or Druid are better or not, what matters is that every decent deck will wipe the floor with you before you're even through half your deck, because it takes ages to draw cards as Hunter.
hey, I didn't knew you had access to the next expansion already.... or is it just a time machine? Yea.. I think it's nonsense. Only Rank 20 players are so sure about the future of the next ROTATION meta.
Warrior didn't had good card draw either, yet Mecha'thun Warrior exist and viable. I'm sure Hunter finds a way to use Mecha'thun too now this new Legendary exist. Especially now power-level of the classes have dropped.
Hunter could already use Mechathun with hemet in a deck like this;
but not anymore because all of the ways to draw mecha'thun easily is going wild. Maybe this expansion makes it possible again.
I'm not a fan of Lazul's Scheme even though it will probably see play in some kind of combo deck. I'm sort of at the point where I agree that 0-mana spells are inherently broken, and it's basically a humility reprint for Priest.
Missed opportunity for 3,4,5 which Is always sad.
Can't wait for an Oblivitron in some sort of Top-Two type brawl. Ob summons Ob summons Ob summons Ob. Probably too slow, but hilarious if you can ever have a hand full of them.
So changing mind is still happening it seems
