New Card Revealed - Swampqueen Hagatha
A new shaman legendary has been revealed.
Upon playing this card, you will receive two discover interfaces containing Shaman spells. Choose one from each selection and then when you play the generated minion that was added to your hand, it will also play those spells! You get to choose the targets for the cast spells.
Well, to be fair Shaman does have some bad spells (Totemic Might and Beakered Lightning for example), but all the other classes are in the same situation. Moreover, you get to choose twice in a pool of 6 cards in total: you won't always find the best possible combination but you'll surely get something useful
Hysteria is gonna have so much fun trying all possible scenarios :D
How about: Rogue gets this out of espionage. Then he discovers eviscerate + vanish. Infinite board clear with 4 damage to face.
It won't work, it explicitly says that you teach it two shaman spells.
My bad, I got too excited xD
Usefulness of the card aside, I like this card. This feels really fresh
I think it's insanely OP, but I also absolutely love the card, it is quite interesting and original.
7 mana do nothing. I don't know guys. Only druids could play such aberrations in the past.
And btw. Really one card for today? This is ridiculous.
Cool mechanic, I like it!
To clarify for everyone, the first spell you choose is completely random. The second spell is also completely random, unless you chose a targeted spell first - then you can't pick a targeted spell second, only non-targeted ones.

Certainly one of the coolest cards I've seen in quite some time. But realistically, not a lot of "7-mana, do-nothing" cards have ever seen regular play on ladder. I recall Da Undatakah being the 2nd or 3rd highest-rated card from RR on the Community Compendium - it's always tempting to over-rate expensive, splashy cards, but Da Undatakah currently has a play-rate well below 1% on HSReplays, with a very low played win-rate.
Having said that - the new Specialist format seems tailored for exactly this sort of card. You'd often get punished for playing Hagatha on ladder, but she may very well be a great tech choice in a control mirror-match.
You might be right, but I wouldn't put off the possibility that the 5 mana 5/5 could easily make up the tempo loss. It can have aoe and removal attached, not to mention buffing and card draw. Unlike other big minions, the payoff cannot be nullified since it's put into your hand, and the payoff is not simply value, it can very well be tempo AND value.
Your point is fair, but you don't always play minions for tempo: I don't want to compare the two cards (since the one I'm going to highlight now is clearly stronger), but Kazakus had the same issue too.
Moreover, please consider that with the rotation most of the auto-include stuff will rotate and then all those cards that may be good but not broken will have another chance to shine. You have to keep in mind that, with lowering the power level of the game, a minion that now is just good might become even meta-defining in a month (I'm not saying it will happen, but it's just to make you understand what I'm trying to express).
A 12 mana 10/10 that let you choose 2 spells and cast them right away.. sounds good and playable!
I assume you mean a 12 mana 10/10? Assuming the horror costs 5 mana.
The first spell is always one with a target and the second one is not. So, bloodlust will be a common option, that is super powerful. A 7 mana 5/5 is very slow against aggro decks, but against other types this can be pretty strong.
So Shaman is going to stay with the theme of generating value through minions, let's see what happens in the new meta...
Not really, the first one can be anything, targeted or untargeted. Same with the second spell, BUT if you chose a targeted spell first the second one will only offer untargeted spells.

Actually, I don't understand, how it will work. If I select Lightning Bolt and then Healing Wave, will I be able to select two different targets for those spells (never saw a card which allow double selection)? Or same target will be selected for both spells? Or one group of spells to discover will not require targeting?
Second spell is untargeted, you cannot select two targeted spells.
UPD: from what I saw on video looks like the first spell require target, the second one did not.
First spell is targeting. Second isn't
