Oh i see! Turning lore of the last expansions into a whole story arch! Ambiguous but promising move. Someone will say that blizz are lazy if using waste characters, but if blizz have something more to tell about them, characters are not waste.
So we gonna play on the dark side in the next adventure, and Blizzard reveals playable characters in these boring teasers. I hope adventure will be worth playing.
Happy to see that we are a step forward to the new expansion, but this trailer kinda killed my hype: I was really expecting for someone new, like Magatha Grimtotem as a lot of people said...
Mine too. I´m now a little bit disappointed to be honest. Hopefully it´s just for the new single player contend. Reprinting of some characters like Elise was a nice idea, when they was in wild. But Haghata is still in standard, so I don´t need a second version of her there.
And you are wrong! Because Blizz made stu[idly huge mistake and put TAUREN's totem instead orc's one.
So if you and other who don't know how totems looks like said the only thing that came to mind "Hagatha" didn't make you right. Or even draenei totem with bones and skull would make you shouting "Hagatha! Hagatha!"?
There also were reasons to think it's Hagatha. To name most obvious ones: Fortune Teller and King Togwaggle are HS-only characters, Magatha wouldn't fit; Hagatha was in the exp after Togwaggle and is a shaman, hence the totem; the smoke coming out of the totem was speculated to be the curse she unleashed.
Don't be stupid dude. The totem isn't even in a swamp, it's in the barrens. Togwaggle's was clearly in a cave/catacombs.
The team purposely mislead people because they knew if the second tease was obviously Hagatha then Dr Boom would also obviously follow.
And then the hype would end with a wet fart when people realise it isn't actually the coolest schemers and plotters in hearthstone. It's just the villains we've been seeing for the past year already.
And then the 5th must be another villain from the last expansions. Rastakan, Bwonsamdi, Lich King, Un'goro and Gatgezan didn't had any real villain, Malchezaar, Rafaam, Ragnaros and Nefarian and Kel'Thuzad. If they are going to be caged in the Violet Hold, this eliminates Bwonsamdi (cause he in kind of a ghost) and Ragnoaros (cause he is too big for the jail, elementals can be banished but not caged, forgot the exact lore here). I guess there's a chance to store Kel'Tuzad phylactery somewhere in violet hold so I'm not eliminating him.
So ... Rastakan, Lich King, Malchezaar, Rafaam, Nefarian or Kel'Thuzad for the 5th one.
I vote for Nefarian cause it's year of the dragon.
Everyone saying that Magatha will be the next villain, that doesn't make any sense, that last card is Dr. Boom and the Fortune Teller i think can be the last villain to appear in this teasers of the next Adventure?
As far as we know, this could be the promo to the Adventure and not the expansion itself.
I'm kinda confused as to how these are going to fit into the set.
Are they just going to be bosses/playable characters in the single player content or are they actually going to appear as cards?
Because it would be kinda strange to have Hagatha and Boom both as Hero cards as well as regular minions. I mean, Hagatha could work, but Dr. Boom was already a regular minion before he got turned into a Hero card.
Then again, maybe that means we'll get Togwaggle as a hero card, which could be hilarious
I take it this is all solo content stuff. From the people at the hearthstone summit they mentioned the next pve expansion will be more of the adventure stuff but on a bigger scale. I didn't know they meant it literally. It's all speculation but I hope they're not just rehashing the same bosses and characters we've only just seen in the last few expansions in to a "new" pve adventure.

Next one Dr.Boom and last one Zul’jin perhaps?
I’m more inclined to think this is for the new solo content than the actual expansion
they are keeping us entertained as official trailer was gonna take longer to come out this round

it must be. 5 wings - 5 villains. I am pretty sure that every wing have it's own villain.

What a terrible media planning!
Please enlighten us all with your alternative 'media planning' strategy. Maybe someone at Blizzard will read it and get their acts together!
so after boom, Rafaam or a new character
Lich King

We are 1 month away from the realease of the new expansion and all we got so far were 3 teasers. Is this the "usual procedure"?
No.
