Miniature Warfare Returns As This Week's Brawl - But We're In The Brawliseum!
A new challenge for the tiny gladiators of the Brawliseum! Build a standard deck, all your minions are 1/1 and cost (1) mana!
Trivia
- Miniature Warfare is not a brand new brawl, but this is the first time we've seen a Brawliseum use another brawl's theme.
- This brawl is much like past Heroic Brawls but instead uses the Arena reward structure.
- One free entry to the brawl is given to all players.
- We last saw a Brawliseum on December 5, 2018.
How it Works
This Tavern Brawl is a cross between what we're used to seeing for Heroic Brawls and bits of Arena.
- You will pay an entry fee equal to an Arena run to take part in this Tavern Brawl.
- Using cards in your own collection, you build a deck for the standard format.
- The rules of Miniature Warfare apply - All minions in your deck become 1/1 that cost 1 mana.
- Like Arena or a Heroic Brawl, once you lose 3 games in the Standard Brawliseum you are out.
- Rewards will be given to players based on their performance with their deck, equal to the Arena reward structure.
- Your first run of this brawl will be free! There's nothing to lose!
Share Your Brawliseum Decks
Using our deckbuilder, you can share your decks and strategy for this week's brawl. Use the deckbuilder normally but when saving your deck, make sure you change the Deck Type to "Tavern Brawl" and the brawl to "Brawliseum - Miniature Warfare". Following these instructions will help other players find your deck. Don't forget to include screenshots to show proof of your wins and losses!
New worst Brawl ever!
By far!
Well....Deathrattles become 1/1. That's lame.
The two worst brawls stitched together.
I disagree about the brawliseum being the worst brawl ever
Meh, this is too complicated for a Brawliseum run...
Which makes it fun! It's a new pocket meta. What's not to like?
The fact that i have limited attempts to build and learn my deck.
On paper, yes, it's cool. But it would have been out of Brawliseum as well.
And i find Brawliseum very cool. I would have it as permanent mode.
But the two things together are just too stressful for snowflakes like me.
this is literally the easiest brawl to build a deck for
pick ROgue
throw in Alexstraza and Elven Minstrels
either go full Malygos/auctioneer or Bonemare/Spirit of the Shark
beat pretty much any enemy as long as you don#t get screwed by bad draw.
Will try, thanks.
Welcome Back To The Alexstrasza Drawing Competition!
I consider myself to be the reigning champion in Alexstraza drawing
I have 12k gold, so I'm not hurting :).
Em, i think, i will retire my run, hate this brawl and 3 match of it minimum, meh
should i use a malygos rogue or a mage deck for this brawl?
that's what it comes down to. Malygos priest/rogue/mage/??? or don't bother
I like the brawl, I just don't like I have to pay to go in after the first set of matches. Blizzard is so trying to drain our gold so we have to purchase the expansion bundle with real money.
Not trying to be an ass, but people say this every time one of these Brawls coincides with an upcoming release. You DON'T have to play the Brawl more than once. I'm going to play one time (probably get destroyed) and take my rewards and not spend any more gold on it. It's entirely up to each person whether or not they want to spend their gold on this.
With that said, it is "interesting" how these spend-gold tavern brawls show up quite often right before expansion releases ; )
I consider it an idiot test. If anyone legitimately spends the gold they (presumably) saved for the expansion to compete in a terribly unbalanced Arena knockoff to maybe get some mediocre rewards (I went 8-3 on my first try and only got about 200g and a card pack, which means if I had paid my 150g I would only have gained 50g and that's from a really good run against many unrefined decks)
Anyone who seriously pays into Brawliseum before the rotation forfeits their right to ever complain about not having enough dust to craft decks
It is a gold grab, why don't they ever have these brawls after and expansion?
anyone knows how Dire Frenzy works in this?
