HCT 2019 Info Coming This Thursday, Choose Your Champion on Wednesday
Blizzard has yet to announce their plans for the 2019 season, featuring a new competitive format. Originally due to be released Tuesday, this has been postponed until Thursday according to an email from Blizzard received by Tom Matthiesen .
What changes do you want to see made to the Hearthstone Championship Tour? Last November , Blizzard commented on feedback they received which said the system was challenging to follow, not veyr accessible to new players, and ultimately unsustainable to pros. Here is what we know so far:
- There will be hundreds of qualifier tournaments next year. No region locks.
- Three invite-only events will take place with invites going out to players who have won qualifier events .
- Top players will compete in "premier" events. Seasonal, round-robin online competition with regional divisions.
- Transition rewards for Hearthstone Competitive Point-earners so work this year is rewarded.

Not defending them (I don't follow the competitive scene, so I don't even know who Roger is), I'm just surprised because I didn't know you could cheat in HS (except for stream sniping I guess). Is that what Roger does? Honestly curious.

Posted Feb 18, 2019 (Level Up Nerf)He's part of the Taiwan team that used stream sniping and thus got an auto-loss in the HGG. Then it seemed like Blizzard completely forgot that incredible non professional, un sportsman like thing ever happened and let them all compete in subsequent, single player tournaments.
And that, is a nutshell, is how we got cheater in the world championship. If he'll win one of the top places it will even more so be a shameful moment.
