Curse of Hakkar Event
A new card back in a special event that goes back to the Corrupted Blood Incident. We've put up a Discord to help you find someone to play with.
Quote from BlizzardThe Curse of Hakkar is Upon Us All!
A riotous bunch of gladiators have been living it up with the loa in Gurubashi Arena since Rastakhan’s Rumble began . . . but not everyone is overjoyed with the glory heaped upon the other loa. You see, before the rise of the Zandalari Empire and King Rastakhan, Gurubashi once belonged to a very different kind of loa. Adarker loa . . . .
The blood god Hakkar!
Oh yes, Hakkar has dabbled in Rastakhan’s little game—but in his dark heart he dreams of a return to the glory days, when every sacrifice in Gurubashi Arena was made in his honor and he ruled over the Gurubashi Empire with cursed blood and an iron fist! Er, scythey-claw-hand-thing.
But he has a plan, and soon, Hakkar’s name will be on every gladiator’s lips—because his curse has been unleashed on Rastakhan’s Rumble!
A Curse Unleashed
A small number of rumblers have already been marked by Hakkar’s curse. If you should encounter them while playing Hearthstone, the curse will spread to you—in the form of the
Mark of Hakkar card back!
When you play against another player while using the Mark of Hakkar card back, it will spread to them, and so on, and so on—FOREVER!
How fast will Hakkar’s curse spread? How long until EVERY player in the Tavern is afflicted? That is up to you.
See you in the Tavern. Muahahahaha!

I played against an opponent with the cardback, won, and didn't receive the cardback, feelsbadman :/
Now they should nerf garrosh's tits to make it fair for Jaina ...
Also, i hope they "fix" some of the Whizbang decks that got hit by the nerf. I think there are 2 keleseth decks that now have other 2 cost cards in them (cold blood and hunter's mark).
What about Jaina??? She seems as ususal. How do you even know about that outfit nerf??? Source?
I've found it. On shitty Reddit. How do you, guys, even love this forum? It's so inconvenient to read and look for smth in it. Why is it so popular???
You can find old screenshots in many places... They added undershirt...

are the quests 60g minimum so I should reroll mine?
yes! Most of them are 80 and 100!
Sadly Jaina's outfit was nerfed.. which is one of the strangest things yet.
#nochanges regarding Jaina. :)
I may be crazy but what if the card backs are for the next year's expansions, and were just added with mark of hakkar to throw us off. If so I'm very excited for whatwmachine dreams card back was referring to
Best roll out for a card back. Do more of this, like you have to beat someone with it to get it. Great community event.
The HOTS team is laughing at what they did to Jaina. If you want your T&A, go there.
How many special quests are we getting? Logged on today with one active quest from yesterday, got two lunar quests. Should I have cleared my quest log?
Same question here
Turns out we should have. See post from two days ago.
The first lunar quest added immediately after the update, and the second one at the usual time of appearing a new quest.
Rumors have it that you obtain the Pristine Scene cardback if you're not infected by Hakkar when the event ends. Could we have the data-mining of the whole event?
as fun as that might be I think the community will get really angry. it is basically forcing players not to play, and rewards those who don't play at all. And not playing = less micro transaction into blizzards pockets
Since the flavor text of the card back mentions Malto I think it's way more likely to be connected with the two others (one of which mentions Harth). While I think it would be kinda cool too get the sort of "I survived" card back I very much agree with Schranke that it would cause anger and reward not playing the game, which is the opposite they want to do.
