Hearthpwn

I feel like you can learn so much about the design processes, intricate details and shortcuts when you look at full artworks. For example, did you know that the art for Old Murk-Eye, Murloc Raider and Murloc Scout are all taken from one image? Search "Old Murk-Eye full art" and you'll see. I really hope they showcase more stuff like this, like when they did with Sunkeeper Tarim. 

As an artist I wouldn't mind if you guys share more about Hearthstone art content. With a quick search in Artstation for "Hearthstone" you may find A LOT of original paintings and process as well.

I always loved the art and stuff from hearthstone, imo that is really something no other card game could come close (especially not MTGA).

Cards like loot hoarder for example, one of my favourite cards (not only stat-wise). The artwork of that greedy guy, the "mind if I roll need" voiceline, (the memories if you are a WoW player back in the days), and so on is just perfect. I cant even remember any sounds of MTGA, even though I play it quite a lot lately. Another example is Lone Champion, nice artwork, fitting voice/sound, even the "if youre alone youll get a divine shield"-effect fits to that theme of the lone champion perfectly. Just Beautiful. 

So many unique sounds, just hearing them..

Usually the only cards I chose to craft golden are Matt Dixon arts. I even crafted Griftah gold at the start of the expansion mainly for the art, lol.

I'll probably pick up a copy of the The Art of Hearthstone. First time spending money on Hearthstone, but at least I get something tangible out of it.

For someone like me who isn't even able to draw stick figures it's amazing to see how few lines will evolve into a beautiful drawing.

Cheatin'? I never fight fair! Love this card, very fun to play.

I was amazed at the level of detail when I upgraded to a 4k monitor. The extra clarity going from 1080 or mobile is incredible.

In decks that run her she is win condition and has higher winrate when played than keleseth...

Problem with HS is that cards do not highlight enough the details on the artworks they contain, especially on mobile.

Here for example, the light source on bottom left adds a whole new depth level on the artwork. Almost entirely lost on the card.

It would be nice to have at least a "full art" button when browsing card collection.

I agree - and given the high res images would make the client too big it shouldn't be hard for it to simply open a web browser page to the full detailed art.
