Head on over to our dedicated thread on our brawl forums.
Odd mech pally is pretty good in this brawl. Can spam dudes into mukla/quarter or make big mechs, depending on opponent.
You can generate cards from out of these expansions too btw. Don't know how much it affects actual deck building but it seems minimal.
This is awesome!
My only critical opinion is that you can't build multiple decks for it. My first game utilises odd Paladin (Most the best odd paladin cards are available) and I absolutely slaughtered. Felt a little bad for my opponent. I think they simply built a deck using the 40-booster bundle. Shall wipe the deck and try score a win with each class.
Personally, I think they really hit the spot with this brawl. Using only four expansions mixes things up a bit and causes people to make their own decks. I would love to see another mode/format that uses a number of set expansions that switches out monthly when the season resets. I want to see more of this brawl.
Basic + Classic + the four Adventures
Genn (Hagatha) vs. Baku (Dr. Boom) and of course mechs everywhere.....
This brawl is really interesting it's a "what if mechs were everywhere" meta
A clear invitation to buy the 40 wild packs..
those were my exact thoughts...
Prediction: Blizzard is going to be making standard a mode like this for the next rotation? Bringing back old expansions into a new meta to freshen things up. :O
I've been suggesting that this is what Wild should be for years. Let it be truly unlimited during the expansion months, but in the other nine, random selections of sets such as this brawl. That would make it a good deck-building challenge, and last just long enough for a meta to settle.
This should be a normal mode, people have been begging for a mode like that for years. It actually provokes some deckbuilding thoughts.
I agree, I want to see another format that mixes only a few expansions from wild and standard.
I dont have a lot of cards from the old stuff, but I did save Justicar, so Warrior should be good.
Mechs, mechs everywhere! The idea is great and refreshing. However, with GVG and Boomsday being in the same bucket, the end result was pretty much expected. Wish they'll redo this brawl in the future with new and different expansion combinations.
won on the first try using an even shaman. Yes, I am that kind of degenerate
Nice - glad Blizz thought of this :)
Won on first try against a guy that was playing wild for the first time.
STEP 1: put Baku or Genn in any deck
STEP 2: fill the rest of the deck with random even/odd cards
STEP 3: Profit ?!
I am speechless, it took them a bloody fucking long time to make this brawl.
