Funny thing is I enjoy showmatches before tournament, but I prolly will not watch tournament itself ;). Jia is good!
Not watching when they are allowing cheaters to play.
It is hearthstone, how do you cheat? Also, who is the cheater?
They basically stream sniped the other players. It was the Chinese Taipei team.
Here's the official statement:
The Chinese Taipei Hearthstone Global Games (HGG) team has been disqualified from the Hearthstone Global Games competition. Following the Chinese Taipei vs. Singapore match, the Chinese Taipei team uploaded a video of their gameplay. Upon review of the video, and after reviewing in-person statements from the players, the Hearthstone Esports team has determined that members of the Chinese Taipei team used the delayed tournament broadcast to aid them in a decision during the game. This behavior is prohibited in our tournament rules under section 7.11a. Specifically, players are prohibited from “[s]tream sniping, or any general attempt by a player to spectate his or her own match or get information from another person spectating the match.” Based on the timing of this disqualification, the Singapore HGG team will advance in place of the Chinese Taipei team to the playoff stage of the Hearthstone Global Games at BlizzCon.
That's really disrespectful to all decent players out there to invite wintraders and HGG cheaters. They should have banned their accounts and IP addresses and never let them compete again.
Wait, what happened? It seems like I missed something big
Edit: nevermind, I just read it in another comment
Decks please.
If only we had them. There's a solid chance that I'm just blind but I've been unable to find any yet. Once the tournament truly kicks off the decks should appear to Battlefy (click a matchup to see the players' decks).
