I'm not saying that it's super good but it's definitely not the 5th worst card of the set. It's surely better that the Warlock Loa, which got 10 points more. Not to mention all of the mediocre pack fillers that the set is full of.
Woah this community so bad at rating cards haha *snort*, unlike them, my IQ is very high so I actually rated the well *starts blowing himself*, I can't believe that after so many years people still suck at rating cards haha! *ignores the fact that cards are revealed in short amounts, making it impossible to contextualize them* haha what NOOBS
FWIW - if you look back at the WW and Boomsday compendia, 10 of the 20 cards from the two "Top 10" lists have never seen regular play in Standard. A couple others see occasional play, or regular play in Wild. Probably five of the cards in the RR Top 10 won't see play.
My bets are -
Revenge of the Wild (too situational - you can't play it in the early game, and you have better plays on-curve in the mid-game).
High Priest Thekal (he'll likely see play in Wild, along with Molten Giant).
Da Undatakah (8-mana, do-nothing isn't playable - since it's a Battlecry, it can't be cheated into play).
Mojomaster Zihi (very powerful effect, but mostly pointless, unless there is a dominant 10-mana OTK deck on ladder.
Master's Call (currently, Hunter has three decks that are all Tier 1.5 - there aren't enough 'good' Beasts to make a Beast Hunter deck as good as Spell Hunter, Cube Hunter, Secret Hunter).
Arena Treasure chest FTW
The raptors are going to be better than people realize.
The fact that Gurubashi Chicken has a higher score than blast wave tells you enough about how bad this community is a judging cards
You are certainly fun at parties
I am but that doesn't make me less observant xD
when i went to see what people voted on the chicken, it was like half of the votes went to "meta-defining".
this card is supposed to be a joke, and so people will joke around with it.
Not observant enough to notice a joke going over your head though :D
Such a weak expansion...
Arena Treasure Chest is going to be insane in my Meat Wagon deck! I'm not sure what it does yet, but it's going to be insaaane!
They are wrong every time.
These*
I am by far not an expert to evaluate competitive potential of a card but I really feel like Gonk, the Raptor is underrated and will be hated in the next meta.
Druid is already hated, there will be Gonk decks for sure, but they will only work because every combo deck works in Druid. (They have the best draw and armor cards in the game, they ramp, draw and stall then kill you with their combo, Togwaggle-Azalina, Mecha'thun, Malygos or Gonk, doesn't really matter, the result is the same...)
Unless they change how 2 Gonks works together it will most likely be played in a Druid OTK.
Hum fair point I think. Druid still have all their powerful tools so they'll probably keep their "most hated class" position till the rotation.
In order to build a druid deck that works -
1) Add 2 Ultimate Infestation
2) Add Malfurion the Pestilent
3) Add 2 Spreading Plague
4) Let Hearthstone randomly fill all the other cards
5) Profit!
In my opinion,
the most overrated:
1. Spirit of the Dead. I really want this to be viable, but I think priest doesn't have the strong core and enough card draws to make this viable now.
2. Spirit of the Rhino. It's not bad, but will warriors include a lot of rush minion to make this outperform Hand of Protection?
3. Spirit of the Lynx. I'm not buying into many spirit cards, especially this one. I would rather run a Raid Leader.
4. High Priest Thekal. Just talking about standard, this card is nowhere close to meta-defining. It's just a playable support card.
5. Bog Slosher. I like this card, but I doubt it will even see constructed play.
the most underrated:
0. Gurubashi Chicken. How can this not be meta-defining?
1. Shirvallah, the Tiger. Why is this rated so low? Look on the forum and see how many theorycrafts contain this card.
2. Spirit of the Frog. The strongest spirit card in my opinion. A 3-mana Auctioneer with stealth and tutor effect? Come on, there's no way this don't see play.
3. Blast Wave. Mark my word: this will see play. Not a lot of cards will see play, but this will. 50 is too low for a card that will see play.
4. Arena Treasure Chest. Trash stats but this has so much more chance to see constructed play than many mediocre cards, just because its powerful deathrattle can synergize well with Twilight's Call and Da Undatakah.
5. Griftah. I would include this in my priest deck with Princess Talanji. The chance to discover a very useful removal (useless for opponent most of the time) or a giant over-costed minion (tempo loss for opponent to play but a free summon from princess) is good.
