It's hard for me to fathom the "Last Hero Standing" format, honestly. Nearly all matches are one sided (0-3 or at best 1-3), even at top16 and finals, and Pardub in particular got to the top16 without even playing 2 of his decks until then. It's not that he's not a great player by any means, it's just bringing and knowing how to play 1 or 2 good decks could carry you nearly all the way, which can never happen in conquest, and is a far less viable measure of skill IMO.

Same as all the other competitions in the past 6 months. Nothing has changed. Same ole meta and same ole decks. So happy a new xpac is coming so at least there will be some change. Won't be a lot of change but some is better than none. The real test will be in April of next year but sadly 5 more months to go of this.

Is it still viable, I mean, after 2 direct nerfs and the one to Giggling Inventor?? If I see another Quest Rogue in ladder I'll probably quit Hearthstone forever

The two finalists both brought quest rogue, and there were multiple 3-0 quest rogue sweeps in the tourney.  It's still very viable but with giggling gone it is actually weak to aggro but it's still busted in general.  I think it performed so well here though because nobody brought aggro and the midrange decks like DR hunter and Even pally are super weak to vanish.

Remember when Hunter had no viable Legendaries?
