Host a Pre-Release Event for Rastakhan's Rumble - Play With Your Cards Early
The pre-release events are back for Rastakhan's Rumble but this time can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home! Create your unlisted, private event, invite a couple of friends or hang out with your family and open your packs early.
- You can play in a special fireside brawl with other people at your event. It's constructed with the new cards.
- A Royal Recipe brawl will also be active which uses pre-constructed decks.
- Events can be run from November 30 until December 4.
In addition to hosting your own event with your pjs on, you can also put on some pants and visit a real Fireside Gathering. Blizzard has a list of public events available on the Fireside Gatherings website. Client patch should arrive soon to prepare for the pre-release events.
Extra Reminder - Go get your free Rastakhan's Rumble pack on Battle.net. Login and choose your team spirit!

Whether you’re an established innkeeper or you simply enjoy the company of your community, step up to the plate and host a public Pre-Release party. Or if you are looking to have some fun with friends and family in the comforts of home, you can also enjoy the festivities by creating an unlisted event!
You can start planning your Pre-Release party now. Rastakhan's Rumble Pre-Release will run from 10AM PST on November 30 2018 to 10AM PST on December 3 2018.
Rastakhan’s Rumble Pre-Release
In addition to busting open your packs early, you’ll also be able to participate in special Fireside Brawls that let you play with your shiny new cards before the expansion’s official release.
- In Rastakhan’s No Cards Barred brawl, you’ll be able to construct decks using the cards that you open during the Pre-Release event. There are no restrictions on class or duplicates in this one, so you can harness all the mayhem of the Gurubashi Arena!
- There’s also A Royal Recipe, a pre-constructed brawl that will have new deck recipes from the upcoming set for you to play with! You won’t need to have pre-purchased packs in order to play this brawl.
Maximize your Fireside Gathering experience by pre-purchasing your card packs for Rastakhan’s Rumble so you can enjoy both Pre-Release brawls!
Your newly-opened cards will be viewable in the Collection Manager, but they’ll only be playable at a Fireside Gathering prior to launch. You also won’t be able to disenchant or craft cards until the expansion’s official launch.

We can’t wait for you to try out the new cards, so look for a Pre-Release event closest to you and start rumbling. We’ll see you in the Tavern!
It cant locate me and now I can't host the gathering properly. whyyyy
When is the latest we can pre-order the bundles?
I signed up to host my own in my PJs as advertised, it says I'm approved, and now I don't know what to do. Nothing is different when I log in. Frankly, I'm finding this all pretty annoying. It would be one thing if this was truly limited to Fireside Taverns, but they specifically are pushing us to open our packs early and play with friends at home. Why not just unlock the Rastakhan’s No Cards Barred and Deck Recipes to only be played against friends? This entire process is frustrating and off-putting.
Just created an unlisted event, I got an approval E-Mail I am assuming things will work when it goes live at 10A.M.PST? we shall see
Nothing oh well... p.s. it worked I just had to activate with the button on the left by my name! what a dummy lol
Is there any way of joining one of these events from home without risking a ban? I wouldn't mind to finally get Nemsy and the card back.
I wish Blizzard would stop with these Fireside things and just give us a brawl with the new deck recipes or something which everyone could try.
The frustrating part for people like me is that whenever I have tried to join Firesides near me... or create my own, they fail or you cannot get in. It has driven me to not want to even try for it any longer.
A perfect example!

3 Questions.
How do you get packs? As far as I see I have zero packs for the new expansion. Will I be able to buy them with gold?
If I host an event within my home will I get to play with nobody or can I connect and play multiplayer?
If I remember correctly, you won't be able to purchase any packs with gold during the pre-release event, you can only open the packs that you pre-purchased. I can't answer your third question, have never attended or hosted an event.
How do I choose Rastakhan dor unlisted tavern ? It is nowhere to be found.
Fireside Gatherings... again. A privilege of small % amount of their playerbase.
I mean just realise a mode where ppl can try the new cards (or actually ANY cards ) and create their own deck recipes AND test them against (reworked) bots without any cost before we craft cards-spend money on them.
Thus, enhancing players positive experience, give the chance for new decks to arise and shine, decreasing the appearance of stable metas and replace them with a “meta” full of new and creative decks (mainly coming for ftp players, who they dont have the resources to try new stuff) and prevent to a small(or even big) % amount net decking. Dont make me talk about the joy and interactivity that will bring to their game!
in addition, if they want profit from this they vould charge a specific amount of gold for using this mode for a limited time. Either when a new expansion coming out or as a permanent choice.
**I am a ftp player and I have almost a complete collection. These are Just some thoughts about FG and what could be better to get their attention into (in my personal opinion)
Why complain? you are not missing anything(it there like a card back or a hero again I would too), also you can create your own just for you its easy and free.
Is not a complaint
Like I pointed out in the end, those are just some thoughts of how Hs could be more friendly and fun with new creative decks around.
While I can't possibly go to the gatherings without spending thousands of dollars, that's still good news. Streamers will be there and we will be able to enjoy it.
There is ONE thing I hope. The tavern brawl previous to the release MUST feature new cards somehow. Please! It makes all the sense in the world! It is unforgivable that after years they have only done that once with Marin the Fox.
Will we be able to buy packs with gold/money, or we just can open the pre-order packs? Thanks
Only preorders
