Mosh'Ogg AnnouncerCan be actually very annoying card to play against but cannot see this will see play in serious constructive decks.
Do we now if someone else includes enemy characters?
If it does this card is insane and if it doesn't it is probably not making the cut instead of most other 5 drops.
This card art gives me a strong feeling of gachiGASM
Man, I thought this wording was a poor, quickly put out fan translation of the card until the official translation came about. This feels super unprofessional and terribly worded. I really hope it gets fixed up before release.
Holy actual fuck. The wording this expansion is on another level of retardedness. Fuck. Seriously team 5...how can they be so fucking inconsistent. 'This', 'Someone else', the Discover and draw confusion of Masters Call, the summon effect of Totemic Smash and the bug of Ice Walker with the mage spirit. I can guarantee this will confuse the average player . And that's just this expansion.
Their inconsitencies in wording is a real pet peeve of mine. Love the game been playing since beta, not gonna quit over this, but fuck me sideways.
Fuck.
LOL... Plus one from me. Made my day coming in to see this comment!
Agree 100% as well. For a group that doesn't want to confuse, changes keywords to be less confusing, this expansion really has abandoned that practice whole heartedly!
Was literally the first thing that caught my eye.
'Someone else'? What?
The game has ALWAYS used: 'another random character'.
And 'this' should be 'this minion'.
It should be more like:
'When this is attacked by an enemy character, there is a 50% chance they will attack another random character instead'
Pretty sure there just trying to shorten some commonly used card text phases, in order to have longer text in the future. Blizzard should know better then to change words on their community, they'll be lost forever :P.
Remember though we can't have overly wordy cards because it might confuse the player base. You know because they thinkt he average player has the IQ of a turnip. :(
No @Unbekunt, these cards were revealed by Blizzard themselves, so this is how they're going to appear in game. Once we see the cards, they've been finalized and ready to ship for weeks, if not months already.
I strongly agree with your comment. so here you go my plus one vote :)
This is getting at someone.
Master's Call
Totemic Smash
Ice Walker Spirit of the Dragonhawk
The master's call inconsistency isn't actually new, I'm pretty sure, but it still pisses me off. It's going to be the same situation as what you get with chromaggus tracking where it's not considered draw even though it very much should be.
I don't get it, what's wrong with ice walker and spirit of the dragonhawk?
Adjacent minions take damage but don't get Frozen.
Upvote this to heaven.
"Say the things, SAY THE THIIIINNGS!"
I'm gonna go ahead and make the bold claim that Mosh'Ogg Announcer gets nerfed halfway through this expansion cycle. It has good vanilla stats, skews towards aggro, and half the time will make opponents take unfavorable/disastrous trades. It's a recipe for disaster.
Edit: Apparently it doesn't work like misdirection, which is much less interesting.
That is a bold claim indeed with cards like Fungalmancer and Cobalt Scalebane making sure it will never see play in constructed.
