You target a minion to give +2/+4 and taunt and then summon 2 3/2 raptors... It is pretty obvious
buff a minion, summon 2 raptors, just like Power of the Wild.
Summon two Raptors with 5/6 would be nice ;-)
But probably you buff one minion and summon the two Raptors with 3/2.
Enemies attacking ‘this’ ? Seriously? Wtf is that wording, was it so hard to write ‘Enemies attacking this minion’ ?
the "minion" in your wording is completely superfluous.
Card wording should be as simple as possible while still clearly conveying what the card does.
it does save space and the effect is still clear. What's the problem?
Well, hearthstone mainly uses "this minion"... here are some examples of a fraction of hearthstones' cards
Gahz'rilla, Saronite Chain Gang, Wrathguard.... just to name a few that use "this minion". It seems cards now are getting inconsistent in text
Mainly? I meant "always"
Calling minion THIS is the problem. Would it be alright if people referred you as ‘this’ instead of ‘him’?
Shaku, the Collector also says "this" to save text space. I welcome the simplifying of text if it doesn't cause confusion.
He is an announcer. He talks smack about the minions and when someone tries to attack him he just distract them with "Hey that guy just made a joke about yo momma are you gonna stand here and let him?"
It isn't bad flavor, announcers make sure the action is in the right direction.
Mogor the Ogre
A smart ogre redirects incoming attacks to the nearest face...wait a min.
Edit:
This says "someone else". Does it mean attacks will hit any random character, friendly or enemy? This is why consistency in card text is essential. "someone else" could mean anything from random enemy character to random friendly minions.
Noggenfogre.
The ogre has good stats with no drawback. I think you read it wrong, very hard for your opponent to trade into. Yes, the Druid card is outclassed by the individual effects of other cards but the choice is what makes it good. That’s how the choose one mechanic works. The effects are slightly understatted but you get versatility to make up for things.
Man, I don't like epic fillers, but I guess this card was designed w/ arena in mind.
Nice, my first 10 packs will be guaranteed 3 copies of this.
After that 20 packs without legendaries.
Would be nice. 300 Dust. ;-)
Next, please!
I am waiting for the Hunter card that will be revealed in 40 Minutes ;-)
