if someone has a brain to fix the discard mechanic, then they also have a brain to fix of buff other class cards too. until we see the other cards, this is just fine for now.
Man if odd mage wasn't going to be a direct counter to this deck it'd be so good to play
Now Discard lock is less random, and is getting good support! I hate myself for disenchanting Clutchmother Zavas. Still I'm excited with this reveals' mechanics, but not a fan of the art compared to Boomsday.
Ok fine! I'll play odd mage!
Actually somewhat decent cards. I'm slowly getting interested in this expansion.
I’m excited that positioning is becoming extremely important. Really adds a layer of depth that was generally unimportant.
I love those warlock card , these are the kind of card dislock needed for so long
#Make_discard _great_again
At last! IMMORTALITY.
I love the design and the overall way Discard Lock is heading.
Cards r looking cool and fresh with super value and promising combos (even after the quest and zavas rotate).
Soulwarden is 6 6/6 epic (u can have 2 copies) with an amazing battlecry if you think of the value (example: 3 guldans in a single value game)
i really enjoyed this video. I think it was very fun, and light hearted, and regis is awesome.
i was a little disappointed that warlock was not picked, but ah well. mage was still cool.
My belief is that discard should be targetable (i.e. player chooses which cards to discard) but have the downside that you MUST discard the required amount of cards to play the card.
e.g. You have 3 cards, you want to play doomguard, you discard the other 2. You have 2 cards, you want to play doomguard, you cannot because you can't meet the conditions of discarding 2 cards.
Along those lines in any case.
Oh my God... Is my Lakkari Sacrifice finally going to be useful? Please! I even crafted Clutchmother Zavas when I opened that quest! You owe it to me, Blizz!
At very least, it'll be good for the memes. I'm glad they're doing this for the last rotation in Standard.
This was their perfect opportunity to bring back Inspire...
Too bad they missed the chance. Still, some of these cards are looking interesting!
Man, I'm actually lovin' all the new cards. Hero power Mage showed on stream looks super fun.
seems like they want to shove discard warlock down our throats just like they did with freeze shaman and beast druid.
Discard warlock is an old one, but they seem to be making good discard cards that might see play even if the deck doesn't work
This is exactly the time they should be printing major discard synergies - to make a final push in standard to realize the potential value of Lakkari Sacrifice in a big way right before it rotates out. There was a lot of criticism of Blizzard when Shadowreaper Anduin was introduced in the middle of a year and created a Tier 1 Razakus Priest, and many of the critics said that they'd be happier to see these major synergies at the end of a year when they wouldn't hang around for too long. Blizzard has clearly taken the note, and they're trying to supercharge a weak archetype for one last burst before rotation.
Holy crap! Targeted discard? Retrieve discarded cards? They finally got this working the way it should work!
Yep, and ravencaller say "Hello"! :D
