Mage hero power synergy cards are bananas
Waterboy over Fencing Coach !?
C'mon Blizz...
I think you can use fencing to set up the heropower to 0 cost next turn. Can make for an even more insane turn in the mage they showcased
Waterboy for even decks, Fencing Coach for Odd :) Tho i doubt any of these two make it into an established deck. Waterboy would be nice with DK Jaina to have insta-target for Hero Power, but that alone will not be worth the card slot, so yeah.
yeah, and they reprinted that card as a worse one...
Actually the point is not is it better than wisp, but the effect. Effect may be useful in some situation or deck in future. As well it is neutral, ao it may be uaed by every class. I dont say that it is super good or bad, but it add some mechanic which may be good eventually. Which is fine. There are much better example for cards, which will not be used ever. But next time when they make some legendary based around hero power, this may see play. Or the mecha cthun lock, which gave life to the spell which make next spell this turn to cost health. This is trash, but mana cheat always had potential to see some play in the right situation. This js fine I think. Actually even the biggest problem is that it may see play in some op combo, than that it will never be played.
This isn't really cheating mana because it costs the same amount as your hero power. You aren't saving yourself anything by playing this card. You're getting a slightly better Wisp. Unless we get a hero power that costs more than (2), this will see no play.
You just say one example where this may see play. How I said it is cheating mana and we don't know what will be futures set. Primordial Glyph as well trade 2 mana for 2. Of course the spell cost permanently-2 mana, which is better, but spells Bloodbloom as well didn't saw any play for 1.5 year, until mecha ctun come. And in general you look it as transfering two mana from using card to free hero power, but we have already examples in the game for card which make minions cheaper, so if somehow we made it for 1 or 0 mana it will be actually card which make HP free, which already is powerful. It is easy to say that card will take no play, actually 85% of the cards take no play... but some of the cards find its place in the future or give ability to do some combo, which actually before was impossible. Not every card is Baku or Genn.
Howlfiend might will be seen with the New legendary card for warlock. I wanna try the Quest warlock once again once the expansion is out, and hopefully it will work.
And Discard lock in wild seems to glow even wider now with this expansion.
we havent seen the full set and you are like ,, oh blizz must nurf that , why are they so slow with nerfing " such crybaby
High Priestess Jeklik = Infinite Value
How do you plan to generate infinite discard cards?
Guardian of Souls
Oh! but that only really works if the cards you discarded are exactly Soulfire, Guardian of Souls, and High Priestess Jeklik, and nothing else. Still, it can generate tons of value so we'll at least see clips of it
Guardian of Souls does not generate discard cards, you are very wrong about your idea.
Oh there better be handbuff cards for warlock...
Guess you didnt see Spirit of the Bat :)
Discard Warlock might finally shine a little until all the original cards rotate... in 4 months
