Isn't this just an auto inclusion in any odd warrior deck that runs Dr. Boom, Mad Genius? I mean it definetely goes into rush warrior, maybe boomship warrior too.
Fluxflor please confirm Rhino works with Boom as Nzoth does not work with minions given deathrattles through battlecries and effects
Can someone tell me if there's a way to give rush to a minion in your hand ? i don't know, with any new or old card, because - immune Yogg-Saron, Hope's End would be pretty nice, like a pre-nerf yogg :D
Or the "Summoned" word means there is no way to summon it and activate yogg's battlecry ? ;(
I think this expansion may be the one with the most unclear text and unintuitive card abilities (like the one in the Card Real Kickoff video thatI still claim is a bug according to the card text). That doesn't make it bad, IMO, but I'll certainly be keeping a look out for a Disguised Toast video going through interactions before my first crafting spree.
if Peter Whalen says Spirit of the Rhino works with The Boomship then i'm sold!
Spirit of the Rhino works with any summon spells or a keyword like Recruit, The Boomship and other spells or minions that summon from your deck or hand onto the board.
Seems much, much better than the druid spirit at the same mana cost.
So to make it clear:
The Spirit of the Rhino should work with Boomship.
The reason to assume it works is because the already available interactions with the Cards
Charge + Warsong Commander and Rocket Boots + Woodcutter's Axe.
So even if a Minion doesn't have Rush if you give them Rush on the same turn you summon it the Spirit should work.
With Charge and Rocket Boots on a Festerroot Hulk it gains +1 Attack from Warsong and +2/1 from Woodcutter
Warsong Commander gives +1 attack to a non-charge minion buffed with Charge only if it's played after. If you play the commander and then buff it with Charge, it doesn't work.
But Peter Whalen confirmed it boomship and this works so…………...

This is ridiculously good.
Yall are forgetting The Boomship is 9 mana. You can play Spirit of the Rhino and The Boomship for a 10 mana powerplay.
Minions from Boomship are miňions with rush, not rush minions. Similarly Give +1 attack to charge minions do not give +1 attack to minions that do not have Charge printed on them but gained it by spell/effect.
Peter Whalen confirmed this works with Boomship.

Most of the time this will just be a situational Hand of Protection, which is pretty bad. Sometimes you may get it to trigger twice by putting a lot of rush minions in your deck, but I'm not convinced that's worth it.
Wrong. This is a Hand of Protection that can optionally be pre-played, and a 0/3 minion which needs to be killed otherwise the effect continues to cast each turn for new minions. This card is incredible.
If Hand of Protection was 0 mana and had echo, maybe it might be as good as this card...
Except Hand of Protection only affects one minion with one trade.
This is a minion which already in itself comes with stats and an ongoing effect. In most worst case situations you make ONE single trade, but you could repeatedly trade favorably with a deck tailored for it. It'll demolish aggro.
