*or you need to shuffle your pirates to earn bigger profit from that legendary. Rogue has that 2 3/2 minions which shuffle 3 copies of targetted minion.
that could work, but if you are playing Mecha'thun, shuffling cards in your deck isnt the best idea lol. I'm gonna make a deck with more pirates and maybe wait to see if there are any other pirates that will be good to use in it.
I don't know what will be this mid range pirate deck, but ok. It worth trying. Otherwise it is good card in general.
Just going to delete the deck for now. I'll try to add more pirates and play around with it after we see all the cards
Pirate rogue heh... Well if you have coin and Prep you can also do Cannon Barrage for 15
did blizz forget they made recruit a keyword?
I think recruit plays minnions from your deck this card will just "summon them" which in my head means the summoned pirates are still in your deck. Like how shadow essence works
Edit : I understand now oops nvm
Shadow Essence and similar cards specifically say "copy". them not using Recruit keyword is indeed weird... But maybe that is why they didn't change "recruit" cards from before Kobolds too, because they don't want to use the keyword for some reason...
Interesting, and underpowered...and I've been waiting since Mean Streets for more pirates; so depressing.
that is why that 5/7 discover 1/1 was so badly stated
I noticed very few people consider nightmare amalgam as pirate too.
Midrange pirate decks OMEGALUL.
Except for the fact that it doesn't do that. It summons them which in a sense means "makes copies that are played on the board". Value-wise might be better, but from a tempo standpoint isn't.The card might be decent, but I'm not really seeing it unless Even Pirate Rogue becomes a thing. My bad.
Let me introduce you to a card called Patches the Pirate
That's 100% NOT what summoning from your deck is. Summoning minions from your deck is the same as Recruiting. This is just a Recruit card but without the keyword because its not from K&C.
If it only summoned copies it would say "Summon copies..."
you can make a deck with a lot of pirates, shadowstep, academic Espionnage this card and some draw so you can thin your deck to draw more 1 cost card from the opponent classe and be ok in the early game too. So you will have 2 win con in your deck .
Why not Recruit?
Recruit is a keyword used in the Kobolds & Catacombs expansion, and they haven't used it on any future cards with effects similar to this if you look at Witchwood or Boomsday
I understand it in Flark’s Boom-zooka because it’s a different mechanic
It doesn't matter if its the same effect. They used Recruit as a keyword only for K&C cards, that's why they didn't change the text on Y'Shaarj or Finja and they won't use the keyword again until they decide to start revisiting theme-based keywords like Recruit and Inspire.
