Basically, Druid of the Scythe, who can also be a Giant Wasp or Dalaran Mage.
DotS is kind of close-enough to being playable, in the right kinds of decks. Adding in the choice to become one of two unplayed-in-constructed cards is a pretty decent improvement, though. Poisonous is potent in the right situation, as is spell damage.
Here's the other great thing: it's a lowkey powerful Druid card, which doesn't obviously fit into the current top druid archetypes. Now, sometimes, that could be bad. But Druids of Druidstone don't really need help. Most of what druids do is kinda busted. I don't want to see too many big buffs for taunt druid or maly druid or so forth. This guy might still fit into a malydruid deck, so that he can do utility things, but probably not.
So this is trash with Witching Hour and Oaken Summons, but that's a good thing overall. Druids need to do more new things, rather than do their old things better, since they're old things are too strong.
The Fandral Staghelm Wardruid Loti version has rush and stealth, so unique :D
Druid of the Saber can have Charge and Stealth, is that close enough?
But not rush and stealth :)
The flexibility makes it interesting just not sure how good it will be in standard. In arena and wild this is great imo.
The spell form is the sleeper effect on the card people won;t think about. 3 mana +1 damage to swipe on 7+ or 6 with coin is really good removal when you need it. Otherwise just go poison for removal or an extra taunt early to branch to 4 or 5. The little things this card can do are amazing because of the flexibility.
Very versatile card. All the kind of decks that used Fandral Staghelm will use this too (along with Fandral, for extra amusement).
It won't be used in Aggro or Combo decks, but seems pretty decent for everything else.
3 mana 1/6 does get better aka Crypt Lord, wich doesn't see play
The 4/2 rush is literally Druid of the Scythe, wich doesn´t really see play
I guess the flexibility is decent, but definitely this is not a good legendary card, which I guees is good for a class that already have very powerful cards
Remember when people said Branching Paths was bad or average because each individual effect (except armor) was overcosted? I wouldn't underestimate this card in any kind of tempo/midrange druid.
If odd druid becomes good, this will certainly be played in it. It has an option to be decent against anything.
trash card, all of it's forms are weaker forms of common cards with lower mana cost, higher stats and more.
but you can chose what u need if u need rush to kill or taunt to defend or poison to dont let your enemy play big boy
Versatility is hard to judge, but most of those cards are in the game and are very mediocre. But this one is all 4 in one and you can choose which one depending on the match up, so it can be a little less mediocre in the perfect scenario. So yeah, might be good, but might as well not make the cut for a constructed deck.
It's like some sort of tech card to make your deck a little more consistent early game, so if druid decks don't end up being super tight lists, this will probably see play.
it does have the benfit of being a 3-drop which is Druid's least used mana-slot.
At worst, she's a good bridge play when you didn't get Wild Growth as an opener.
I'm just puzzled why they wouldn't make the taunt form a 2/5, but maybe they didn't want to make her too powerful
What the fuck? this could have easily passed as like a rare or something..but a legendary? like it's pretty good I guess but for this effect to be on a legendary card is some really shit design.
Literally only meant to combo with Fandrel in Wild. Other than that it's basically a one of a meh card in standard. What a joke.
The point of legendaries is that they have big effects when they’re played. That’s why you only have one copy of Y’sera in your deck.
Let us all pray for the Wild players who get to deal with the Fandral version of this.
wild has some more troubling things going on than some 7 mana 2 card combo for 4\6 taunt poisn rush minion.
No you should pray for turn for us wild players who will have to deal with turn 2 coin High priest Kethal + 2 molten giants...
what a shit card
I think this is a very interesting card. All four dinosaur forms can be used for different tasks:
Due to the miscellaneous application, I quess that we will definitely see this card played in the new expansion. However, to my opinion, the potential is not good enough to be a legendary card at all.
