Nice but feels like power level should be little more for legendary. If this was epic and you could have 2 copies in your deck it wouldn't still be too OP.
I'm trying to find a reason to not play this card in any Druid deck, and I really can't find one
Until the 1 mana spell makes druid "choose" cards do both for the rest of your turn (Fandral's effect).
Its a nice card but should be epic instead of legendary
I hate the community of Hearthstone so bad !
I'm very happy to see this. I doubt it sees play during the next few months, but I bet it will after rotation. All of the forms are perfectly reasonable for the cost, and in a new, undefined meta that will be really nice.
Each of Wardruid Loti's forms are worth about two mana, and this kind of flexibility is certainly worth the extra one mana. She doesn't seem to fit into any popular druid decks today, but she's got tons of utility, and that's enough to have her see play - if not now, perhaps after rotation.
This literally seems like it would have made more sense as en epic card, as none of the forms are particularly great. It's value is purely in it's flexibility. Though with all the "Beast" content Druid is getting, they are getting increasingly pale in terms of power compared to Hunter beasting out this expansion.
Yeah god forbid druid doesn't get some overpowered garbage for one expansion
Very Solid card, like the other Choose One Cards, you can decide how you want this card to become for the best outcome.
I would play this in any druid deck cause it has a major diversity. This card alone could defy the meta if you ask me cause you can do so much with it.
it doesn't matter if you play this early or late. it has it's use in every situation.
Fun Fact, doesn't work well with Hadronox decks only if you plan on using Witching Hour and Oaken Summons.
I understand and respect that druid is most versatile class in wow and forever will be. But the thing I don't undersand, is why in Hearstone most classes if not every are lacking flexibility at all?! It wasn't like this in wow, nor should be in hearthstone. Little example about a warrior card Unidentified Shield , all effects of this card are somewhat useful, but in different situations. Give me a reason why it have to be random? instead of adding choose one option, won't it be fun and playable?
The "Unidentified" cards were supposed to be a callback to loot drops in the Diablo series (and other such games) where there are base items that have random buffs/enchantments on them when they drop. Kobold's and Catacombs as a set was supposed to be a throw back to dungeon crawlers, which they did a pretty great job of, to be honest. While that did make the cards weaker than "choose" cards, it made them more thematically correct.
Random effects also push story's, which Blizzard is all about. The Inn Keeper himself will tell you that most times you log in. I can't tell you the number of times me and my co-workers have come into work to talk about some epic top deck or whatever, and it's even more exciting when it's an "Unidentified" item (normally it's Unidentified Maul giving you lethal or the bubble to have great trades or whatever).
tl;dr Unidentified Shield would be way better as a choose card, and I would love that (with a new name), but it didn't fit the dungeon crawler theme.
Looking at the comments, many people think that this card is bad. As a Druid player, I can understand that. The ramp archetype of Druid is the most consistent and most played of the Druid decks, with only a few exception which are Spiteful and Token. Looking at the cards reveal so far for Druid, it is very likely that the meta for Druid decks will see little change. The new cards are clearly pushing for Beast and Hero Atk Druid. Personally, I hope that the Druid yet revealed will push these archetypes more or else, it will be just the same decks as before with little change.
One of the most versatile (if not the most versatile one) cards I've seen, suitable for many cases. I really like it!
Nice druid flavor
Bad as a legendary!
Good that I can save 1600 dust because I'll go for BIG DRUID!
HS Community: man druid gets too many OP cards every expansion
Blizz: *releases balanced druid legendary where the value comes from its versatility*
HS Community: ...how come it's not OP
mostly because they don;t understand how good this card really is. Just one example is that druid would love to have a Spell Power boosting card in deck but it doesn't fit well and throws off the deck. With this card you can summon it on demand and turn swipe into a way better removal card on the same turn. I struggle to imagine a druid deck that isn't going to find a spot for this card in deck.
I think this is a well-balanced card in standard. Flexibility is pretty good in HS as we've already discovered. In my opinion this will find a spot in most druid decks but taunt druid,
