If they wanted to push this druid attack damage synergy they should have given this a passive +2 to your hero's attack. It would have been really strong, yes, but that would have made up for all the synergy cards being garbage
most useless spirit, naturally garbage
This may seems bad for some of you, but I'm sure Druid will get some cards that say "...your hero is Poisonous" or "...your hero gain +8 attack" and this will be very good.
you people need to stop underestimating this card. Effectively it's similar to NOrthshire cleric as a 1-drop that's hard to remove and can snowball your draw if not removed in time.
Don't see this as "card draw Druid doesn't need" and more as "card draw for Druid decks that can't use the other card draw"
Why do you think a midrange-beast-tempo Druid neever was a thing despite Druid being the strongest class for a while? It'S because Nourish , Wild Growth and even UI are terrible when trying to play for board.
The only thing that ever came close was Spiteful Druid and that's only because of how inherently broken Spiteful Summoner was.
We still haven#t even seen most of the Druid cards and if previous cards are any indication then Gonk will enable this HARD.
I dunno, maybe there are desirable ways for Druid to get attack without spending mana on their hero power or playing trash like Claw and Bite? If not, the first draw is just compensating for you playing the damn spirit in the first place, the second compensates for playing the attack-granting card if the card doesn't develop something else on its own. Ergo, the only way this will be worth it in an aggressive, board-centric, hero attack-based deck, is if there is a way to get attack on your hero while developing a board. Like Savage Combatant, but as Battlecry instead of Inspire. Or a minon that grants your hero attack as long as it is on the board. You develop a board and draw deeper into your attack synergies at the same time. But with what we got so far, we aren't even close to that. I wouldn't compare it to Nourish or cards like that, as its role is very different. If you're aggressive, you don't want to spend your turn 5 just drawing. You want to grow your board. So the card makes sense by providing your cheap draw with potentially buffable body in one package. But so far, the archetype it fits in doesn't exist due to lacking triggers. I'm glad they're trying something to support it though. Druid has had attack-boosting cards since the beginning yet it never amounted to a strategy, and it's like 1/3rd of Druid's starting identity (1. ramp, 2. versatility in a) attack or b) defense modes...we got support for the defense in form of armor and spellstone but nothing good for the attack).
Good card for wild token druid. This card may return the archtype to the meta.
Hero power in token druid is too slow. You flood the board and kill your opponent with buffs. Also in wild you can use the 1/4 butler Mech which is 10 times better than this card.
This card just sucks. Does nothing except provide benefit that other cards already do better. Fail card.
This card can be good if you espionage it as rouge.
Yea, a small ninja buff for Spectral Blades, I suppose.
Cause druid does not have enough card draw ... lel
So in the best case it is 5 mana draw 2 cards … seems shit.
Really garbage
Druid hero attack synergy cards incoming.
Underwhelming thank goodness. Not bad but way way way worse than other Spirits and it's a conditional card draw which druid doesn't really need.
Agree - exactly what I thought.
This card is pretty lack luster. As of right now its only practical use will be with the DK hero power. Odd druid could use it but I don't see that archtype getting enough support to be anything more than a meme. The druid cards that buff your hero for a turn work with this...but those see so little play it's barely worth mentioning. I wonder if druid is getting more hero buffing cards.
druids really have enough draw. now if only they had cards that give them like 30 armor per turn...
Could be useful in Odd Druid, since it is easier to kill minions with your hero then. Especially if you also include Claw.
I play an Elemental Odd Druid every now and then and while the deck doesn't feel quite right yet, it does get more wins than I expected from a weird experiment.
3mana + some HP to draw a card isn't so good, but it has some body for eventuall buff, but we haven't seen buff druid for some time now. We will see what else will be revealed for the drood.
