Witchwood Grizzly
i like the old name

Guess it fish’s up Hydronox for a few months, making Taunt Druid much more reliable.
Too bad Menagerie Warden rotated, otherwise it would be great to copy a Witchwood Grizzly buffed with this card.
Petition to get blizzard to rename the card back to "Fluffy Dinosaur".
Rexxar grumbles
Wait now they can tutor out the Hadronox
But I don't think you'd want to double Hadronox health...I think obviously the best target is Tyrantus. A 12/24 can't be targeted by spells, behind some 1/5 taunts or something, could be quite the control tool. Or just the smash face tool
Who cares about Hadronox Health? It gets Naturalize anyway, what you care about is having it in hand...
They already have Juicy Psychmelon, which is a significantly better option.
Juicy Psychmelon is not even run that much is true, Oakheart is usually better than Hadronox, but not always...
I agree that it's fine and actually healthy to support non-top-tier decks. My problem is that supporting a weak or near-nonexistent archetype by giving it weak cards (and this seems like it's probably a weak card) is not really supporting it at all, and in that sense this card is a bit pointless.
Remember that we haven't seen all the cards yet, and that even in Standard, there are some dope beasts- how about ghost-panther-taunt-whatchamacallit, with 24 health? Or the Overkill common druid dino that summons 5/5's, now with 7 extra health? Any card with Overkill is gonna buff hard from this. Heck, it might be worth playing 7/14 if you can make it a 7/28 and cheat it out of your hand with that one new legendary.
Oondasta.
Yeah you are right honestly - you can never and should never write a card off until a) you see every card released around it and b) until you give the meta at least a good month to experiment and settle. I suppose what I should have said was "in a vacuum, i.e. out of context, paying 4 mana for no body, one draw and an effect which does not have any impact on the board seems weak", because it does. Also you're right that the effect being +14 health is amazing, however when you get up to those kind of numbers then 14 is often as effective as 28 health. This is because either your opponent often lacks the power on board to trade in (or does have the power but wants to ignore the minion) when a minion has 14 health, or they just have single-target hard removal which destroys a minion regardless of its health.
Again you're right though that we have to wait and see. I'm admittedly not hopeful, though.
Terrible card, terrible art
I think it's just fine if Blizzard pushes a druid archetype that isn't top tier this expansion.
If only it were odd.
Yes! Nice card for my Malorne-Deck. :D
Would have been good with Witchwood Grizzly. Currently doesn't seem to have a purpose.
what are you talking about grizzly is in standard
