HEALADIN IS REAL
Waiting for the "Destroy your opponents armor" card
ooookay. So this is what the pretend will make Healadin a thing?
I mean, sure, effectively turning all your healing affects after playing this into armor is neat and we do have plenty of heal synergies at this point, but I still think it'S too weak to build a deck aorund. I mean, you would have to hard mulligan for this card and if you didn't get it early half of your deck would be useless. Unless t hey have a neat little tutor for this then it could work...poorly. Spellstone, Blackguard, and the new 4-mana 8/8 just won't be enough to actually win a game with. Control Pally still has no real win condition and givent he fact that we got both his legendaries now means he probably won't get one.
And with this I present you with the pun I've been waiting to use ever since the expansion announcment:
High Priest Thekal? More like High Priest FECAL, because he's SHIT!
Work on your pun game. It doesnt even make sense since the card is far from being shit, even without knowing the rest of the paladin cards
You actually rellying on the palladin legendary for the win condition?
most Pally win conditions previously were not their legendary cards imo.
well then explain how you build Healadin and actually close out a game other than just doing what Quest Priest has already tried (and failed) to achieve before aka win by refusing to die for a long time.
Does it beat Deathstalker Rexxar? Does it enable DK otk in any ways that we didn't have before? Also no.
You can't even put it in a control Paladin shell because you'd need so many support cards around it that do no nothing
It's just like Hand Druid. just having access to a few powerful minions is not enough. You need to actually put pressure on the board or win through inevitability. this does neither
Maybe draw a troll card inc :P :D POG
Youre forgetting Quest priest also put next to no board pressure, unlike healdin.
I really like this set so far it has many unique effects
Not sure if this is going to work as your hero technically never took 29 damage and it was just "converted" (whatever that means).
But if it works - awesome :)
yes it does
Considering Molten Giant's text is technically incorrect (seeing as how healing shouldn't increase its cost if you interpret it literally), I assume it means "Cost 1 less for each missing health".
And in that case, it would work. But Blizzard is infamous for their inconsistency, so don't take my word for it.
Forcing too much a mechanic that is useless and shit like discardlock.
Disappointing of this new shitty expansion
Molten Giant also LOVESSSSSSSSS this
This may have been another reason that it was rotated.
Molten Giant died for Thekals sins.
Of course, and priest is still not receiving love..... God...
Interesting. I can see Control Paladin returning (at least for the first 2 weeks)
At least on wild.
Yes and be at 1 health.
Wow this is the card Heal paladin was waiting for. No more heals sitting in your hand forever, now after turn 3 you can heal every turn without putting you in a dangerous situation. Against both control and aggro this card is very good, potentially 29 armor for 3 mana.
I don't know if heal paladin will find a place in the meta because it still needs a strong win condition (at least more reliable than the DK) but this card will be really fun !
