This and the next turn Reno. 29 Health boost.
Molten Giant's going to the hall of fame.
Oooops, it's already there. My bad.
Omfg this is exactly what paladin needed to make all it's mostly worthless health synergy playable. I'm crafting this shit in gold immediately!
Play this card on turn 2 (+ The Coin) and then drop 2 Molten Giants.
Nope. That won't work. You convert your health. This means that Molten Giants will still cost you 20mana.
Molten Giants just check the difference between your life total and the max of 30. They should work with this card.
Absolutely dig it! Seems super good early game, and not bad later, its alot of tankyness if you have a few sources of healing!
I pray its not until 2 years and 13 days :(
It would be cooler but also way more powerful if the effect lasted for the whole game. This way your opponent can chip away at your armor and there's no way to get it back. This card is already super powerful for enabling heal-based paladin decks so it would need an additional downside too.
That would make Alexstrasza to get 30 health away.
The second battlecry would have no health remaining to convert into armour, so it would do nothing. No interaction with Brann, unless there's a bug.
yeah, @AwkwardSquirtle is right. First Battlecry will leave you with 1 Health so second Battlecry effect will have no + Health to replace.
This card just doesn't have a downside, other than filling a card slot as a 3/4 minion for 3? This card is just insanely good and worth playing in almost every paladin deck.
Heh heh heh...
*looks at Tess Greymane*
Beauuuuutiful...
Sooooo.... Does anyone know how this card would combo with Bolf Ramshield?
I don't know how it works, but if we go by the wording, Bolf only works when your "hero takes damage", whereas Thekal "convert all but 1 of your hero's health into armor" I don't know if converting health is the same as being damaged. If we go by what the words are actually saying, there will be no interaction between Bolf and Thekal, but who knows until we try it or they clarify.
Thats kinda what im thinking, but i am definitely going to try this and see if it works.
It doesn't work. You convert your health. You are not taking damage.
Molten Giants should still work with this card though. They don't check for actual damage taken, but only look at your remaining health.
I think that Molten Giant counts secretly the damage you have actualy taken not current health. For excample if you have taken 15 damage and healed your self after for another 15, Molten Giant would cost you 5.
