No, if you heal yourself the cost rises again.
Anybody who played it knows that.
Really? TBH i have never played this card and always thought it works differently. At least this is what i assumed by taking the text into consideration. But anyhow. Then it could work with High Priest Thekal.
Yeah that's the consistency problem in HS, it can be impossible to predict some interactions :/
Well that's a solution to the main problem with Healadin. If only I could run two of them.
u can if u play this on turn 5 with brewmaster. let the games begin.
Now with all honesty theres a lot of healing in wild. not so much in standard aside from an aggro perspective, or warlock class. more healing cards for pally should do the trick
"Such a perfect specimen!"
It's a 3 mana 3/4 with no text if you have no healing in the deck, 3 mana 3/4 without text don't see play.
if healadin isn't playable (it's not good vs the meta) the card won't see play.
I disagree.
You don't need to be playing full on Healadin. It's good even with just a few Lifesteal cards in your deck...
If your deck is a tempo deck your life total don't matter much you lose when you lose tempo, not chip hp, midrange paladin doesn't run too many lifesteal cards by default.
I realy like this card. Practicaly all variations of heal paladin had one and the same problem- at the start of the game there is no need to heal that much, and in the middle and late game the heal bonus is not enough to compete with opponents deck... this card let your low cost minions be useful at the very start of the game...
If play Alexstrasza after Thekal, you heal for 15 life and put a 8/8 on board. Healladin new combo
You don't heal, you set your hp
I just don't see the downside of this card. It should be playable.
Aaaaand Control Paladin is born.
Errrr... Blizz, I think you swapped the colors and this is supposed to be white. It literally has High Priest on its name
Everyone here thinking of combos with Reno Jackson while I'm all like Reckless Flurry meta board clear get rekt
Its kinda hard for paladin to play warriors cards
If they get lucky off of Grimestreet Informant it could be a thing, but nothing that would break a meta (especially not a Wild meta) since it's so unlikely.
Holy shit, imagine how powerful this could be when comboed with Reno Jackson. You are looking at a possibility of a 58-Health swing on one turn... That is fucking insane.
it cant be 58,since armor you get is from hp,basically you just heal 29 hp that you made into armor,so its 29 hp swing, which is also pretty big.
