Wow, not just a little flat, VERY flat. I'm (flat)tered.
I've been playing since the closed beta, so believe it or not,I know exactly how much Stampeding Kodo has been played in the past, and how much of my own decks had it. Mossy Horror has started to really be run only because of Giggling Inventor and a lot of people stopped running it when it was nerfed. While Void Ripper is indeed very versatile and a good counter to this spirit because of its cost, many decks do not run it or run it for a specific reason, and saying "Void Ripper" like it's a reason this card is bad is not a valid argument, it's like saying Tyrion Fordring is bad because Hex exists.
Every card can be countered, and playing your Void Ripper at an inconvenient time because of one card I can say, as a pretty frequent Odd Paladin player, is very detrimental. Sometimes that's enough.
Yeah I guess I wasn't super clear in my response about why I was even posting. I wasn't saying the card is bad b/c tech options exist. I was just saying I expect the amount of these tech cards being seen in the meta to rise if these 0/3's become popular. I also said I expect some of them to become popular b/c I think they are good. And the first couple of weeks people will be testing out these synergy decks using the champions and the spirits so I'm guessing void ripper will be everywhere until settling back down to a reasonable, yet still more frequent, % of the meta. I just think void is a useful enough tech card to not be used primarily for spirits but to also be there to kill spirits when needed and that its use will go up b/c this set is giving it something to target in literally every class.

How does it work with 0 cost spells?
Does it summon a 0/0 Tiger that instantly dies?
Would be interesting with Cult Master like cards.
It shouldn't even try to summon a 0-hp minion, but this is Hearthstone, so who knows lol
There are practically no 0-cost spells for Pally except for the coin, so I think it might happen. Blizz is a small indie dev afterall
Forbidden Healing
I was really excited for the idea of Turn 4 Spirit into Turn 5 Coin+Spikeridged Steed but if I have to see a 0/0 Tiger baby die each time I don't think i can do it.

But it still is the only one besides The Coin (so far). Would also be interesting to see how Forbidden Healing interacts, because the spell costs 0 and the spell effect spends mana: Will it be a "0/0" or a "X/X" tiger?
I mean this is Hearthstone,
where Pyromaniac draws 3 cards if you have Spirit of the Dragonhawk but Ice Walker can only freeze the main target.

and any board clear says hi.
I will just give it 3 attack and summon a 1/1 tiger, or give it +4/+4 attack and summon a 4/4 tiger... Not that easily countered...
I say Hi back when I play my 9/7 Rush, Lifesteal and Divine Shield
Combine this with Dinosize you can get 8 mana 18/18 board, 10 mana if used on Spirit directly which is still pretty good stats overall. buff the spirit once you play it for the stealth for major damage and hope it doesn't get removed by other methods
Can I just say that this is not a +18/+18 or +10/+10 and +8/+8 since Dino size sets your attack and health to 10.
In your case its 10/7 and summon and 8/8 which is steal really good :) if it can stay around more than 1 turn.
definitely too risky to play this on curve but later in the game it can be a pretty good way to fill up the board with cards like Sound the Bells!
Guys, I've just realised that mossy horror gonna be so good in the upcoming expansion.
