yeah but for some reason a large portion of the community loves 45 minute games of do nothing control deck vs do nothing control deck.

Because control matches can actually require thought. Aggro you just spam minions, ignore the board and go face.

slow meta allows for cool combos and creativity. in an aggro meta, all the decks are identical, the whole game is just decided by who goes first, or who puts down the first minion.

Actually all trading requires thought.  Aggro doesn’t just go face unless the player is an idiot.  Lose the board, lose the game; control, combo, and aggro all face this. 

it will definitely be something on the sea, with the parrot, flag, and the island.

i think pirates is a it obvious, so maybe vikings? i dont know, we have had some viking-like cards in other expansions.

and then there is the pack art which indicates trolls, which is also obvious, but i am very hopeful. 

in the end i think it will be troll vikings, or maybe pirates vs vikings. that would be fun.

in general i love pirates, but in hs i hate them. if we get  a pirate expansion, atleast its only in standard for 15 month. kinda sucks that next to elementals prates have been pushed the most so far. elementals are dope though
