We Planned A Hand, So Go Vote For Your Favourite Community Created Cards
It's time once again to vote for a winner in a card design competition.
This week, we required you to design a card which interacted with hand position.
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
- You must make a card that interacts with hand position ("the left-most minion", "the right-most card", etc.).
- If your mechanic is number-based ("the third spell"), assume it counts from left to right. That way, it starts with the oldest card in your hand.
This Week's Finalists
Out of 86 entries, we've narrowed it down to 8 of the community's favourites. Check out the finalists below and then head on over to the final poll to vote, vote, vote! Tokens, as usual, can be viewed in the voting thread.

Im not crazy about any of them. I kinda feel bad that I dont. But thanks for creating guys.
My vote is on Romulo, because i think it would help make discard Warlock work and i really like the idea of that concept.
Im also a fan of Samuro, Warplan and Goldfinger, but they are a bit janky/bad. Samuro for example is either just a generic 10 mana fill your board with 3/2s or a complete overpowered tool for spell rogues, depending on if your opponet have a board clear.
Glad you like Romulo, thanks :)
Warplan is crazy good card
gives new meaning to the term cycle haha.
Wow the samuro blade illusionist is broken. Still cool tho,
but you play it, then the echo copy is the right-most card in your hand, so you can play it for only 3 mana, now the next echo copy only costs 2 mana, the 4th one costs only 1 mana and then you can play 3 more echo copies for free so your whole board is full of them, and your right most card costs 7 less, so then you can play sprint for example, and play the 4 new cards from right to left for free. Very overpowered. But still i think it is a very cool effect and cleverly made
Glad you liked my card. ^-^
Do note that you're gonna have to a) have a completely empty board when you spam Samuro, b) have the exact cards you need in your hand in the exact order you want to play them from right to left, c) dodge literally any AoE that deals at least 2 damage for one turn because note that the first time you play this, Sam's reduction will ONLY affect his Echo card because it'll stay there until the end of turn, which makes the Echo mechanic a lovely balancing tool.
Also note that the main viable Rogue decks atm are tempo/aggro/midrangey decks, and Sam only really works in a Control/Combo deck with the latter being kinda hard to set up.
Hope that explains why I balanced him as such.
So after the seventh Samuro you will have to prep, and then mimic pod to get a potential new discounted card. Sadly rogue has no hp buffing spells :)
Exactly. That's a neat combo you could create in the late game...provided that you don't draw a minion or a situational spell.
Still, I hope you could try to sneak in a lot of ways that plays with the "right-hand" mechanic, which is the theme of the comp. :D
LOL I didnt even notice this one when I was looking through submissions before I posted mine... which is also Samuro, also Echo, but I went for left most card feature. Mine would have same effect but only if it only card left in hand, which I was aiming for.
Although I did pump up the stats because of that.
Will vote for ya :D
