This Week We're Creating Cards Which Have The Power Of Treants
Entries are open for this week's Card Design Competition! This week's theme is "Tree Huggers".
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
- You must make a Druid card about Treants. The card can be synergy-related or an actual Treant; that's up to you!
- Remember that "Treant" is NOT a tribe, like Murloc, Beast, or Mech. An appropriate name and art is enough.
- Existing examples include: Soul of the Forest, Witchwood Apple, Poison Seeds, Dendrologist, Mulchmuncher, Living Mana, Force of Nature, and Cenarius. For now, there are no collectible minions treated as Treants!

Hardly worth four extra mana. Only relevant against res priest, not even that relevant against taunt druid.
The reason why treants aren't a tribe its because they lack special effects (other then maybe d.rattles).
Treants are tokens to activate abilities and not the other way around.

Boi I've never seen such terribly overpowered cards. These are amongst the ppl that shittalk team 5 constantly about OP cards btw.

That would be sort of like creating the 'silver hand recruit' tribe. Treants are a type of token that druid creates. At least for the moment, blizzard doesn't seem to be intending to make any non-token card that is a treant.
SO WHAT? Just add the damn tribe!
I honestly don't get how they haven't added Treant as a tribe yet, especially after Mulchmuncher was printed. It would make sense. But I'm also under the belief that almost all minions should have some sort of associated tribe as this opens up more design space for interactions and buffs with only those specific tribes of minions.
When I saw the topic, wanted the next tread to be “this week we are creating cards to make druid even more busted!”

The funny things is that Team 5 is creating cards with Treant sinergies but will not create a Treant tribe.

because creating too many tribes is just needlessly confusing. As long as all Treant cards have Treant in their name it's good enough.
Consider that:
One day Team 5 will be creating more treant related cards, the problem is that "Treant A" and "Treant B" Differs only for the second name, keeping the Treant name as first name.
Just create a stupid Tribe, Team5.
