Fun and Exciting Decks for The Six-Shooter Tavern Brawl
This week's brawl only requires the use of six cards so the real question is, what is the best way to get your classic pack? We've got some decks that we think you'll enjoy on your quest to get your pack. First though, here's how this week's brawl works.
- Create a deck using six cards.
- You have a limit of 1 of each card in your deck - no duplicates!
- Once you've drawn your entire deck, you'll get your six chosen cards reinserted into it!

OTK Priest
Ranked #1 on HearthPwn right now for a reason. Still good even with a cap on how many times you can refill your deck per turn.

This is Discardlock taken to a whole new level. Get that out of there, Jaraxxus.

I actually saw some success with Secret Hunter - basically just Secrets, Gemstone, and a big fat Secretkeeper. I've got success with this against everything except Mage, at which I still sometimes win. REALLY fun.
Also, I saw someone playing this against me the other day - Ice Block Mage, draws Ice Block with Arcanologist, Arcane Intellect, Sorcerer's Apprentice, and Research Project, and does this forever. I won because my opponent burned his Ice Block off by accident, but it was pretty much luck, and it looked really fun.
EDIT: Ok, theorycrafting here, but Amethyst Spellstone Warlock sounds really cool.
My first creation for this worked quite well actually. My Deck was:
Research Project
Sorcerer's Apprentice
Arcane Intellect
Frost Nova
Fireball
Molten Reflection
You can do way riskier Apprentice setups than usual because you are going to redraw some at some point in the next turn or two anyways.
They often can be gathered in your hand together with Molten Reflections to go: Sorcerer's Apprentice -> Sorcerer's Apprentice -> Molten Reflection -> Molten Reflection
Then every Spell in your deck costs 0, you can draw a hell of a ton of cards, maybe even fatigue your opponent a bit, and if you have really unlucky draws you just stall with Frost Nova and fill your Board with Apprentices.
Ich found a cool and strong Mech Pally deck
Mechwarper
Faithfull Lumi
Glow-Tron
Skaterbot
Rebuke
Divine Favor
Havent seen any other strong Pallydecks thus Brawl. You should give it a try as long as you can.
WDHellS : Six-Shooter Deck
By the way, I don't get why they did not ban the cards with shuffle effect altogether, if they were to ban any.
There are ways you can counter cancer mage and priest, but not fatigue rogue even though it "auto refills your deck". Easy abuse. Otherwise would have been a great brawl.
Also, The Soularium should have been banned.
Highest "Rated" doesn't mean best, it just means higher sample size. There are plenty of decks that absolutely destroys that top played priest deck with little to no effort.
I'm surprised that no one else has mentioned trying out Pogo-Hopper for this brawl. Here's what I'm running:
Preparation
Shadowstep
Lab Recruiter
Pogo-Hopper
Fan of Knives
Vanish
Will it win 75+% of the time? Probably not. But is it fun to smash your opponent with 7/7, 9/9, and 11/11 Pogo-Hoppers? Heck yes it is!
Just play all your ramp into Yogg for fun.
Also the fastest way possible to Yogg is on turn 3 (Going second):
Turn 1 - Biology Project into Wild Growth
Turn 2 - Nourish, Coin and Jade Blossom
Turn 3 - [deck]Innervate[/deck] into Yogg-Saron, Hope's End

Hey guys, Y'sharj Hunter is pretty Fun in this tavern brawl. The deck goes:
Barnes
Y'sharj
Tracking
Freezing Trap
Candleshot
Quick Shot
The deck is worth giving a try
Beats everything, but quest mage...
The one and only minion which needs to be banned for such brawls (and looked at in general) is Mana Wyrm. Sure, it's no surprise most people are playing Tempo Mage or Inner Fire Priest since those are easily accessible, but the recent brawls were so utterly dominated by Mages...
Also, "Fun and exciting"? Sure Kappa
Weasel decks are really fun here, because your opponent doesn't get to reload, because they always have a weasel in the deck.
I had some fun with this rogue deck:
Weasel Tunneler
Wisp
Counterfit Coin
Preparation
Myra's Unstable Element
Backstab
You basically mulligan for element, prep and coin for a guaranteed strong turn one, because you fill your hand with cards from your deck. That means you empty your hand as much as you can beforehand. You want to get some coin into weasel into backstab. Wisps are just cards you could play unconditionally and they allow for some board control with backstabs. Just to clarify, you don't win quickly with this deck. Your damage source is 1/1s that the opponent will stop being able to deal with.
You either face a deck that counters yours and lose, and face a deck that tries to counter a different deck and win :D imo myra's unstable element should have been banned
Two words:
Ramp
Yogg
Im 11-0 with mech hunter
Mechwarper
metaltooth leaper
clockwork gnome
jeeves
mecharoo
just kinda beats everything. Consistent t4 kill against slow decks and good stats to beat minion based decks. Pretty much unbeatable with coin as you can mechwarper into all your 1’s and t2 leaper for insane value
LMAO "fun and exciting" That rogue deck that summons 3 arcane giants turn 1 beats all these easy.
