it's called marketing
Also, pre-sales started months ago. It's normal
they should hire new marketing agents then immediately
Why though? How does it hurt to start telling people all the stuff you get from going there early on?
Get out of your home and go live the life outside the cocoon.
dude important events are announced with months of anticipation, it's normal.
Every day you're being worse blizz.
Agreed. What a grubby company.
I watched the stream and I felt I am watching channel like commercial channel just want money and make the product is the best while it is not effective.
activision forces them too, they're the problem here
they actually have a patent on overwatch that moves you towards making microtransactions by "smart" matchmaking systems
you can look it up
Why?
You're buying the experience of being in Blizzcon, if not able to go physically. The goodies are bonuses for physical and virtual attendees
10 extra bucks. well, okay.
BUT
Please no card back
Please no card back
Please no card back
Please no card back
Please no card back

We heard you wanted a card back this year so we put in two card backs.
One card back is available with your virtual ticket purchase and a second one is available as a part of the BlizzCon® Premium® Upgrade® Package® for an additional $29.99. You also will received 10 Goblins vs Gnomes booster packs with your BlizzCon® Premium® Upgrade® Package®.
Is this legit or satire?
halp
Seriously they aren’t making enough money? $49.99, WTF?
$49.99 USD
The virtual HS loot better be GOOD because there's no other point in buying a virtual ticket.
Here's a thought, people have researched it for years, but most people still don't get it, so listen closely and maybe read about the subject a little:
Don't buy it.
Don't tell anyone.
There's a thing called supply and demand. Blizzard has a huge marketing team that knows more than you or me about it, and if the demand for tickets would not be incredibly high even at 10$ higher, they would not have increased it, because as long as they lose 25% or ore of their purchases, they'd be losing money.
It's probably my own fault for keep getting amazed how people are shocked Blizzard is a company that wants to make as much profit as possible, like each end every other company in the world.
Will not be watching. SeemsGood
