Shoutout to the five players who don't run a druid deck
Until you realize 3 of them are not playing druid because they are going full agro face
Is it just me or is something wrong with the bar chart? Only half the decks are labeled on the y axis. Also, why are we calling hunters with only 1 recruit card "recruit hunter"? I thought this is what we traditionally call hunter decks focused on seeping oozeling
Odd rogue, Miracle rogue and Quest rogue walk into a church...
For the ones wondering "where's the joke"... is on the matchup
I feel that they need to divide the shudderwoks, some of the builds are the old otk lifedrinker, and others re the new midrange version with thrall deathseer.
so the meta is 100% solved, next 3 months will be really fun.
note quite, every class has multple decks, and nothing in there is the be all end all choice. this meta game is wide open
Wut?
When is the event?
R.I.P Priest
Doubtful anyone cries over Priest dropping down a few notches.
Two very depressing things come from this, unless you consider that Blizzard just generally fails with expansions... Then right on par:
Druid's popularity wasn't a question, and likely was not something the set tried to fix. The Cards for sets are designed nearly years in advance, sets can't be considered meta game responses.
As for the sheer power of the set, you'll struggle to find any decks that don't have new cards, which compared to witchwood is staggering.
Those cards are the most played, needing multiple valuable archetypes to play them, or a very dominant class. Consider that no new druid card is in the top played, and suddenly the design seems less flawed given that this means that the elevation of druid was not as extreme as was doomsdayed.
Add to that, every Warrior Deck ran Dr. Boom, that the mechanical whelp has become a deathrattle archetype staple, that tempo mage and big spell mage both got archetypical buffs, that shaman has a functional tempo shudderwock list, and suddenly the set looks pretty impressive.
I want to add to this that, with the exception of entirely archetype defining cards like Shudderwock, Genn, and Baku, the Witchwood cannot come near to boasting this success.
Lowest dust cost: 4800 for a couple players playing the same Zoolock deck. Wonder what the average dust cost is of a pro deck...
Giggling inventor in 168 decks... not surprised at all...
CONTROL PALADIN IS BACK BOYS!
Recruit Hunter as the most played deck... i am a bit surprised.
It is more of a deathrattle hunter with Kathrena sprinkled in...
The deck is good indeed, i am surprised because i barely see it on ladder, but its the most played one here.
