Yong Woo Leaves Blizzard - Joins Ben Brode at Second Dinner
Yong Woo, Hearthstone's Production Director, has left the company. He joins Ben Brode and Hamilton Chu at the new Second Dinner game studio.
Another two Hearthstone employees quit in recent time, Michael Schweitzer and Jomaro Kindred, who are also at the studio. There are now five ex-Hearthstone team members working at Second Dinner.
Quote from Yong WooAfter 9 epic years at Blizzard, I am embarking on a new adventure. Thank you for your love and support over the years. I'm super excited to join @seconddinner to build something new & amazing together!
Quote from Second DinnerThe team is growing! Say hi to our newest teammates!

Totally agree with Sinister_21 here.
Nice! I’ll keep my eye on those boys.
Yep, me too!
That happens when you only add new cards.
Where are new game modes, where are achievements, where are more cosmetic rewards, titles, etc...
They announced tournament mode last BlizzCon and it will come, probably, after 2018 BlizzCon, a year to implement something so simple, and on top of that it will not have matchmaking...i mean really...
The last two expansions brought new modes for one player and this one will bring a new puzzle mode. About cosmetic rewards, they just gave us the mecha jaraxxus, for example.
I don't think that this could be related to that kind of things, honestly. This guy leaves because his friends must be working in something really interesting and they can pay him well. That's the most probably.
You mean single player experience that no one asked for, that you play for 2-3 hours, until you kill all bosses and get reward and after that you never play again?
Another Card game or Battle Royale Game? OMEGALUL
Battle Royale Card Game. Would play.
Not sure how I feel about this. I am glad for him but it feels like the Hearthstone team that we got introduced to over the years keeps draining out.
Just a thought but, is there a possibility Blizzard will outsource the Hearthstone game to Second Dinner?
LUL WUT UMAD BRUH?
Ben seems like a very cool dude, and wish him and his new studio all the luck, but I just can’t ignore how much it reminds me of an Office episodes where Michael left Dunder Mifflin to start his own paper selling company
You mean this game that they designed?
I hope you're sitting right now because it may come as a shock to you but... THEY made it an unbalanced rng clown fiesta because this was their idea of fun
I'm almost sure I'm laughing at this harder than I should be, but great job !!!!!
:) :) :)
*bows*
Blizzard suddenly regrets their strict one dinner policy.
Joke of the month!! :)
Hopefully this isn't one of those cases were developers jumpship and make a clone or if it is hopefully they make something better or at least sufficently diffren't from hearthstone.
Clown makes another clownish game with old clowns..
Next up Peter Whalen.
