The Card Design Competition Where We Create Cunning Castable Curses!
Entries are open for this week's Card Design Competition! This week's theme is "Casting Curses" and requires you to design a Warlock spell which debuffs your enemy!
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
- You must create a Warlock spell that applies a negative effect - a "debuff" - on an enemy character.
- Directly dealing damage is not a debuff.
- Currently existing examples include: Curse of Weakness, Curse of Rafaam, Corruption.
For a full list of the rules, you'll need to enter, head on over to the submission thread. Don't forget, you can only submit one card into the competition and you must submit your card in the submission thread for it to be a valid submission - the news post comments don't work! It should also be noted we have a dedicated thread for you to discuss this week's entries, so if that's your cup of tea, head on over to the discussion thread.
How do I change my imgur link to a image?
The most common mistake after you've gone through the work to get your card onto Imgur is that you're just simply using the wrong link. Are you pulling from this window?
The link there is still related to the website, and is not actually the card itself. You need to open the image in a new tab and pull that link. Bring it here and it'll post the image automatically, like so:
<https://i.imgur.com/eMCjDJE.png Minus the < at the beginning your link should look like that, with the i.imgur
Curse of Rafaam does not directly deal damage; it is a continuous damage effect that can only be removed by casting the "gifted" spell and spending/wasting the two mana. Direct damage refers to spells like Darkbomb and Hellfire.
Ah, I see. Sorry for the mistake!
The Cunning Castable Curse Card Creation Competition.
You can't play Void Ripper in an even deck. It does see some play in evenlock combined with Mossy Horror
Oh heh you are right. Correct in even it is played with mossy.
Because they're usually really bad and never see much play
Curse of weakness sees play in some even decks, combined with Void Ripper
Sounds about right.

I didn't think Derpwing could be improved upon, but here we are.
