A new way to cheat out giants after Naga Sea Witch nerf.
I could see this in Murloc Pala with this and Dinosize as the only spells. At worst you draw the second Lens but then you get to go again.
I'm not seeing it the other way around (cheap spells and big minions) as it's probably too inconsistent and you kinda need those low-costed minions to survive long enough.
OTK doesn't need Tirion.
except the reason nobody is playing him (he wasn't even in the optimized Even Pally lists, they ran Lich King isntead) is because of how common silence was at the time. If you factor that in Tirion is an 8 mana 6/6 with no effect, while Lich KIng is an 8-mana 8/8 that gave you a card.
Tirion is just not good anymore.
Lay on hands for 1 Mana? Sounds good! XD
(And I don't care the Argent Squire costs 8 mana then. ^^)
Ok I read about the Happy Ghoul combo - this is even far better. :D
Picture this:
Swap Level Up!, Dinosize,Lay on Hands or Kangor's Endless Army with;
Happy Ghoul. A card that doesn't have to stay in your hand permanently after swapping it with a big spell. Lay on Hands especially.
Good call! Could be Corridor Creeper as well? makes it back to playable or 0 mana after a while.
Cool, but too situational. The best you can do is cheat out a big minion (Tirion) on turn 5. That's great, but then what? That alone won't win you a game, and you had to have weakened you deck to take advantage of it. Or are you cheating out a big spell? Lay of Hands? Cool, but that's not a big enough win to build your deck around. Kangor's Endless Army)? Great, but since you have to put small minions in the deck, what are you rezzing?
I'm sure there is (or will be) a use for this card, but right now it isn't strong enough effect to warrant manipulating your deck around to take advantage of it.
8-Cost Happy Ghoul and 3-Cost Lay on Hands. Cast Lay on Hands and play your free Happy Ghoul.
This is a really interesting card, finally! For every big discount you have a beyond dead 8 mana secret in your hand. Cost makes sense, and a good call to keep out of Odd Paladin's tumor-ridden hands
OP OP! Can you even imagine? Have a deck that runs cheap buffs for early game value and massive Legendaries for late-game power. 1 mana Lich King! 2 mana Ysera!
Aggro pala card? Who cares about control with secrets, when you can do - 1-2 mana CtA or Divine Favor for 1. Only good thing in this - aggro pal doesn't want play 4 mana draw 2 and no push for the board.
Maybe realy big pala with secrets and new leg who draws 5 secrets. Atleast Pala can t play Malygos:D
seems neat, idk what to do with am 8-mana Noble Sac though
Forbidden Healing in wild makes that darn interesting.
Fill your deck with 1-cost spells and high-cost minions
play this spell
play a 1-mana Tirion
have it silenced and destroyed
contemplate suicide
Nobody plays Tirion anymore.
Either a 1 cost Tirion and an 8 cost blessing of might, or a 1 cost dinosize and an 8 cost firefly. Either or, sounds like a lot of fun!
So we have Malygos Druid, Malygos Rogue, Malygos Priest, next expansion we can play Malygos Mage and Malygos Shaman, now this looks good with Malygos, if it wasn't on Paladin
0-Cost Tirion Fordring -> 8-Cost Forbidden Healing
