It's refreshing to see warlock get a trash legendary. It was starting to get stacked!
no way. Zoo, healzoo, demonzoo, handbuffdemonlocks, demonlocks are gonna smash it for sure
I can see an opportunity for a new Warlock deck, bighandlock.
Madam Goya was total garbage. This is pretty much Madam Goya on a deathrattle. Still total garbage.
Honestly, it's just too expensive. If it cost 7 or even 6, it would see play as a very interesting tech card, and maybe even fodder for cards like Ravenous Pterrordax and Sanguine Reveler.
Finally the good old trash legendaries for warlock xD
I will surely find this first hahaha
I do believe it is possible for the infinite loop to fail. There used to be a bug where King Togwaggle, another card that uses the word swap, would burn cards in the player's deck if the sum of their decks was more than 60. For example, if both players had 60 cards (The max deck limit) then player 2's deck will be burned and then replaced by player 1's deck. The problem was very clear; The game tried to move player 2's deck into player 1's deck, but it was full, so player 2's deck was then discarded. Then player 1's deck was moved into player 2's deck. Of course, a clear problem also has a clear solution. Move player 2's deck to a tertiary zone. Now player 1's deck can be moved into player 2's empty deck zone and then have player 2's deck move into player 1's empty deck zone. Problem solved.
Now looking at Dr. Morrigan, This has the potential to cause a similar bug. What would happen if the player had 60 cards in their deck and 7 minions on their board (Including Dr. Morrigan)? Regardless of the order of the swap, it would result in Dr. Morrigan destroying herself trying to shuffle into the 60 card deck. Learning from their past mistakes, they would obviously move Dr. Morrigan to a tertiary zone as well before bringing the minion out of the deck. Now, no matter what the board or deck size, Dr. Morrigan's Deathrattle will work properly.
Now, why would this break the infinite loop combo? As I explained before, Dr. Morrgian will probably be moved to a tertiary zone before being shuffled into the deck. Which means when the minion that is brought out of the deck is summoned, Dr. Morrigan won't be in your deck. Which means the 2nd Dr. Morrgian you pull out will have her Deathrattle trigger before Dr. Morrigan can be shuffled into your deck. Thus, you will have no minions in your deck for your 2nd Dr. Morrigan to pull out, breaking the infinite loop.
The patrons don't die miraculously, they still spawn if there is space on your board. There is just a limit at the number of defile procs that can happen (it's 12 or 14, somewhere around that).
This legit looks like my old high school chemistry teacher no troll.
True, but with this you always have a 5-5 on the board that can't* be removed. Outside of silence and transform effects. Still terrible, but its something I suppose.
You will just draw the additional Morrigan at some point. How do you see Banker prevent fatigue..?
this is just...really expensive and bad.
You'd need to hit something that is at least 8 mana or more for the death rattle to be good, but with your hero power you're most likely going to draw that high cost minion anyway
You can do that now with Glinda Crowskin + Baleful Banker.
I feel like this card is about 2 mana too expensive for this effect. Though I'm just glad warlock didn't get another busted ass card.
It should...they change this last patch i think or they will
No it won't. Excuse me for not bringing up the quote, but I'm on mobile and it's a huge hustle, but basically they said that when a card moves "backwards" in zones eg. Hand -> Deck/ Battlefield -> Hand or Deck, i looses buffs, but keps them when it goes forward in zones.
Does it though? This doesn't say it gets "shuffled" into your deck.
Good to see Blizzard going back to its roots!
Giving Warlock trash cards has been their tradition for years! XD
Bloodreaver Gul'dan, Lord Godfrey, Skull of Man'ari, Warlocks don't get need any more broken tools. They already are the most played class or maybe second behind paladin.
Thanks to baleful banker x2, I have one of these in my hand and one in my deck (with no other minions). I have spiritsinger umbra on board from last turn.
When I throw Dr morrigan, do I score an infinite loop?
I'm confused. Isn't that one 7 cost 3/3 from K&C better than this in every single way? What use could this possibly have?
