The Mecha'thun synergy is insane!
I hope youre being sarcastic lel To properly trigger the Deathrattle and win the game, you must be left with literally nothing. That includes Mecha'thun, so cards like the Vial and Play Dead will not not work.
Whatever else you say about it, this set has some of the best art so far in Hearthstone.
agreed
You guys think this could work?
The idea would be to do dmg through bomb and lepper ofc
It may! Rogue has two more common cards unrevealed. Hopefully one is a powerful deathrattle that we can add to this arsenal. Im guessing the other one is an omega card.
This could sometimes work with Myra Rotspring It's nothing special, but I could see you choosing a deathrattle and then having it trigger 4 times, so it does have potential.
This will only ever be used on kobold illusionist for otk. And only with prep.
Blizzard is like "well we keep giving rogue shitty card and it's still strong so now let give them some decent card and see what happen"
Still more Deathrattle support while missing strong rogue deathrattle cards.
"This seems over costed, hunter can cast Play Dead twice for 2 mana"
Well, this can also be casted for 2 mana. Consider; P r e p. With prep, this card suddenly becomes 4 Play Deads in rogue, for the correct price of 4 mana, while taking up precisely 4 slots in your deck. It's balanced in a way.
Now you just have to think of what minion wants their deathrattle triggered twice in one turn. Egg Rogue isn't unrealistic, but I believe Hunter still does it better. Malygos was already a thing using Umbra + Illusionist, but this makes it a lot better (although it is lacking burn, it probably couldn't kill a Druid with its current burn cards, and Druid sounds stable this upcoming meta.) Cube can do everything, so I'm certain I'm overlooking some combo.
All in all, decent card, maybe not something to push Deathrattle Rogue, but it's certainly worthy of some deck.
Considering going double Play Dead is really powerful, the effect is great. It's the same thing if you cast it with Preparation, with the bonus of only using one copy of the card.
This is good enough that it might make a Deathrattle Egg Rogue a reality, it's finally time for Lesser Onyx Spellstone to shine.
Everyone's saying Blah blah Malygos combos. Has no one considered Mecha'thun yet? Sure it takes a bit to set up but you get some coins and prep and this shiny card right here and you play Mecha'thun coin coin prep Necrium Vial and win 2 games. Next opponent won't even know what hit them.
Triggering Mecha'thun's deathrattle does not work. Read card carefully...You need to exactly kill him, empty your hand and your deck while your board is empty. Cards like Cataclysm does it, not this one.
Otherwise, we'd have to blame small indie game devs for it as we usually do!
Read his comment carefully and you'll realize he was not serious ;)
Hate to burst your bubble mate but Mecha'thun deathrattle does not trigger if he himself is on the board.
No sir, you need to set Ticking Abomination first, hopefully no one want to kill him.
such synergy much wow <3
All I think about when seeing this new rogue cards is a Malygos combo.
Kobold illucionist cost reduced at 2 with shadowstep + this for 7 mana, back stab the kobold, 3 sinister strikes for 18 damage each and a total of 54 and you can add another 19 with prep+ eviscerate.
Now, if only we had a way to survive until turn 10 that would be great.
Heal for 16 withDeranged Doctor
Strong board with Splitting Festeroot
If you like Dragons Bone Drake
Two death knight card at one turn? Arfus
