No one will leave a 2/5 minion on the board on turn six, or else they are already dead. Cubelock worked because it could cube the minion the same turn it was played (via Skull), or was cubing a nine health minion which wasn’t killed the turn before. If this mech can be cheated out so you drop Nullifier on it the same turn, then yes, this has more potential.
This is why I am skeptical on magnetic... so far it seems like a win more card because most of the interesting combos require a minion to survive a turn which we’ve seen in the past is not reliable.
Right now i'm waiting for a 2 an 3 drop magnetic minion. This minion is ok and even better without taunt imo but only 2 attack is not good. The 2 drop 1/5 mech needs a 3 drop magnetic. I guess there are more magnetic cards ... a 1 drop magnetic might be to good but a couple of 2/3 drop magnetic can change alot imo...

If you follow this with Beryllium Nullifier it can become a real menace. Other magnetic stuff works too. So it kinda demands an answer although the statline isn't the most amazing one.

Well ppl underestimating this card. Basically unless hard remove which we really happy our opponent spent a hard removal on this cute mech, this minion is like a soft taunt with deadrattle "summon a 2/3 taunt" at worse. It can be comparable with Sludge beacher. And if Warlock can play possed lackey on turn 6 , I am confident that Warrior can do the same, because we likely have more health, especially with the new 1 drop. This card will be very good vs aggressive deck
Originally thought this was a terrible card. I mean, Hogger, Doom of Elwynn seems like a better card, and that saw no play. But then there is also Sludge Belcher which was one of the best cards ever printed. This misses the initial taunt, but makes up for it on the back end. And the fact that magnetic + warrior mech rush + warrior's ability to self-ping, I now realize the potential in the card.
My guess is that it won't see play, though. Just for the smell test of at 6 mana, you need to be doing something that starts really impacting the board. 2/3 taunts ain't going to cut it. Sludgey was so good because of the initial taunt it could be played on turn 5 solo. You can't play this card on turn six solo.
Here's the thing, though. It's a mech. And a card called Beryllium Nullifier exists. Curve them onto the board and you have gotten a formidable 5/13 that is resistant to hard removal that summons taunts when it takes damage. Now if we get a magnetic taunt minion, this card may just be insane, granted it requires the draw and combo for it to be good. However, this is exactly how Cubelock was created; a bunch of mediocre cards, that when played together, become something far more powerful. And we know how powerful Cubelock and Control Warlock was.
Pretty dangerous magnetic target for sure. Probably won't be more than a 1 of in a mech warrior deck because of the stat line but I can definitely see it getting play. All it has to do is get hit once and it's worth it, anything more is pure value.

Magnetic and Dr Booms rush ability might make this somewhat viable. Not terribly likely, but stranger things have happened.
Costs too much to be played and probably should have gotten Magnetic.
On its own, the card is not good. Once you activate it twice you get a 2/3 and two 2/3 with taunt. Why would this be better stat wise than Saronite Chain Gang? I do realize that this being a mech, makes it a dangerous target for Magnetic interactons.

I think this card goes great with the two new legendary warriors cards. Both giving this rush. But on its own it isn't very good so I don't see it being played much right now when you can just play better cards.
This + Dr. Boom, Mad Genius kinda reminds me of Grim Patron lol more defensive and flexible version with Rush and Taunt.
it's because people have small collections like yours, they can't compete in wild with the veterans.

I can compete in wild as a f2p player, a small collection doesn't mean anything I could have only one deck combo priest and climb to rank 5 or legend in wild.
don't make it sound hard we want more players to be interested in wild (speaking as a wild player)
