Cosmic Anomaly gonna be great in Aggro Mage: aggressively statted, great effect. Drop it, if it lives that's great, if not that's okay.
Shooting Star seems like a good card too although I'm a little more suspicious as to whether this will see consistent play - feels like a tech card to me.
But evolved Kobold actually saw play
Yes he is a noob. Let him talk.
1 health more, 2 attack more and it is an elemental. It is a 4 mana 4/3 +2 spell damages. You are “paying” the +2 spell damages with a point less in defense. You are a real noob if you don’t see how strong this card is.
Lol what? On 20th rank
Yes evolved Kobold saw play but most of the time emperor Emperor Thaurissan and Alexstrasza was with it in an deck. The moment emperor went to wild it stopped seeing play as far as I can remember.
Im not saying it wont see play just that it need the synergy to see play. And i cant see any at the moment that will make it worth it, that can change with an single card. theoretically the stats might make up for it but who knows until we see the whole expansion and start using the cards.
So at the moment it is at least worth experimenting with.
Looks like Blizz finally dropped their fear of Spell Damage. hurray
Cosmic anomaly powercreep with +2 spell damage (a lot better than the typical +1) and the elemental tag. Can't wait to try this out. Elemental tempo mage might be a nice deck next expansion. I honestly like bigspell mage more but new ways to experiment are always welcome.
Dude chill. Begging here doesn’t help.
Power creep?
So you are telling me when the 1-cost Warrior spell was revealed, everybody pointed out to Skulking Geist.
Now we have 1-cost spell for mage and???
You want to play the warrior spell when you have 10 mana to get the most value out of it but this mage spell is a early game spell for this reason doesn't really get affected by geist
While Skulking Geist really shouldn't be the deciding factor on whether these cards are good or not, it's worth pointing out that you are likely to hold onto Omega Assembly for many more turns than Shooting Star, giving your opponent much more time to play Skulking Geist and discard it from your hand, thus making Omega Assembly more susceptible to Skulking Geist than Shooting Star.
and... you're doing the Mage a favor by eliminating a dead draw from their deck because they want to play Shooting Star somewhere around turn 1-4 ideally?
Skulking Geist is good against warrior spel because it is good spell, and this spel is bad so nobody bother.
what is the point of "next to it" wording instead of "adjacent" ?
Cone of Cold.
.
Meteor because HS is consistently inconsistent and no one cares
It's actually pretty consistent if you look at it. Symmetrical damage like Cone of Cold and Powershot use the phrase "the minions next to it" while asymmetrical damage like Explosive Shot, Avalanche, Grievous Bite, and Meteor use the phrase "Adjacent ones."
