It's not irrelevant since you can copy the almighty C'Thun with Gloop Sprayer, unless he turns out to be a non-Druid class card, which I doubt. Praise C'Thun! (I also might be waiting for that reveal.)
For arena: You only need another 4/4 on the board to make this worth playing ( 8 mana - 8/8, you know? ), anything more is extra value. So, insane value for arena too.
I don't like this card. Everything about it is "win more".
This card is mediocre at best, even in arena. At 8 mana, it's just too difficult to activate unless your opponent isn't able to remove the board, and if that's the case, you're most likely going to win anyway. You can't use it for combos (except with Avianna), because you can't do anything significant on the turn you play it due to the high cost. You'd almost always be better with other plays in a combo.
What happened to Priest being the class that "clones" things? It's weird that Druid seems to do that better. I guess I'll have to wait to see how the rest of the cards shape up.
Priest didn't really clone things, they took control of things temporarily and summoning copies from hand and deck, not cloning on the field.
The teasers that have been released have specifically mentioned that the "science" the priest class is involved in is cloning, while druids are biology. Not really a complaint, just wanted to point out the inconsistency.
Not necessarily inconsistency, but I see where you're coming from. Since the theme of Druid is not only biology and tree ants, but also gloop, and since this "gloop" can turn into anything, it's less like cloning and more like copying shape (same thing but different blah blah) point being the gloop can be considered like cloning, but in the HS lore it'll be written as something that'll mimic shape precisely.
I feel like this card has crazy potential for either Maly combos or just massive taunts...but in reality I’m not too sure if this will see play in ladder. Arena may not be too good either because it seems really slow and difficult to get full value or even decent value from this card
At least is a common card so no one can complain that blizzard is making this p2w
A win more card?
Even moar ways to copy Malygos
Though I suppose it can copy some high value stuff for Taunt/Big druids too...
You dream of getting a combo piece or a lich king, but all this will ever copy is Firefly.
Seems nuts with big druid.
Aviana/Kun combo decks just got one bit better against rat decks.
You play your Avi-Kun and then either ixilid and maly , maly and faceless, maly and floop , the combo is just to try and keep Malygos Aviana and Kun in hand .
This could be nuts with a Twig of the Old World combo
It's okay, but doesn't break the game in standard and in wild you can already play what ever you want with Aviana and Kun.
I really hope this expansion has a "if opponent controls 7 minions" or "if opponent controls four taunt minions" card that will counter the inevitable wall of minions druid will have.
Guess druid got more crazy stuff to do on high mana...
Actually it's not that good in this way, because if your opponent clear your body, you can never do this combo.
