Cenarius hasn't seen play since 2015... and it's not about to comeback =/
Looks cool. Not OP, but still has a huge potential. Best kind of cards!
Treant syergies!? Anything that might make Witchwood Apple and the Hand Druid synergies worthwhile is cool in my book.
This is exactly why Rush is an awesome mechanic for Hearthstone. A Sea Giant with Charge? Impossible. It'd be busted AF. But give something kinda like one Rush, and that's a card they can print. Someone might say "Rush is just weak charge, so it's boring" misses the entire point. Because Rush is weaker, it means Rush minions can be far more interesting than Charge minions.
Anyhow, Treant mechanics are interesting enough.
Aaaah, good old times, when OTK giant warrior was a thing.
You can just jam that 8-8 it in current token Druid, all treants you need will come from Whisper+Soul combo.
Let's see what happens! (:
We need some twitter answers about treants.
Aggro token druid's glorious return
I see nerf in the landscape
Looks interesting to say the least although I'm not sure an actual Treant deck will make it into the meta. 0-mana 8/8s with Rush are probably nice, as is discovering spells, but what's the win-condition? You'd have to put this into existing deck archetypes that use Treants, the only one existing rifght now being Token Druid, which is already a loaded deck and usually uses Treants through Soul of the Forest and doesn't want them to die.
This reminds me of how Hand Druid failed in Witchwood because they gave a bunch of synergy cards but no real win condition. Then again, there'S still a bunch of Druid cards left that could help with that.
Either way Druid won't have to worry, they'll easily be the top tier class through MAster Oakheart anyways....
3 mana 4/4 of stats with upside and synergy? Cool
Too bad druids will all be too busy blooping with floop to even notice this one :P
Could be a cool new token Druid archetype with Treants being the catalysts. Cards like Cenarius could possibly come back as well as Force of Nature. Probably won't work right now but if they keep putting new cards that support the deck, could be a nice change of pace Druid choice.
The only way the wording " Friendly Treant" matters is in a mirror match. The only cards that give you treants are Witchwood Apple, Poison Seeds, Force of Nature, Soul of the Forest, Living Mana, Cenarius, and the new card Landscaping.
Let me change your mind
Except in Wild with Poison Seeds. Then the word friendly really matters.
Will Living Mana tokens be counted as Treants as well? Because if they are then this mechanic sounds really promising.
tecnichaly speaking, those are treants, it migth count for the cost reduction
well they are called "Mana Treant", so i guess they dont work, all other tokens are called treants even when the art work is different
Where is the treant tag?
