ShiftCon is This Week's Tavern Brawl
Swap stories with fellow shifters at the tavern's Shifter Convention! Choose a class. We'll fill your deck with Shifters and spells.
Trivia
- This is the fifth time we've seen ShiftCon.
- ShiftCon was debuted during Tavern Brawl #55, on June 29, 2016.
How it Works
- Your deck is filled with randomized spells and several copies of Shifter Zerus.
- Instead of starting with 1 Mana Crystal, you start things off with 3!
Discuss This Week's Brawl
Head on over to our dedicated discussion thread on our Tavern Brawl forums.
I would like to except i'm on my 6th game and so far all i get are 1,2 and 3 drops ALL GAME.
Amusing glitches if a shifter was one of the swapping Worgen cards.
I had the same glitches. Got a 6/2 Auchenai Soul Priest without rush.
The only good thing I can say about this is at least we can be certain that Midsummer starts next week. And does that mean Midsummer will still be active when Boomsday Project is released? That would be awesome.
I think the last Midsummer festival lasted two weeks, maybe three. I assume it's gonna be over before BDP launches.
I have one plus 3T and I downloaded HS via Amazon app store, it's working fine for me.
Stop complaining people, just win a game and play anything else.
Hope this solution helps :D
JUST WIN 4Head
For those who don't have a large collection (probably the majority of the player base), these brawls are the only time they feel they have a level playing field in the game. Everyone in this site is shocked with all the RNG brawls, but for the general population of HS, those are the brawls that are most popular because it is exactly that, RNG.
Hearthpwn users need to understand that they are the 1% playerbase living in an echo chamber on this site.
First of all, judging by the average opponent even on below 20 ranks, I think the quantity of no-collection casual and new players is not the majority anymore. Certainly, only a small percentage of all players is on Hearthpwn, but I would guess that at least around 60% of all active Hearthstone players at this point are veterans that are playing for at least 1-2 years already, and many even longer.
Second, I'm totally ok with RNG Brawls every now and then, and I understand and respect that they are better for some people, whether they have no collection or just like the RNG aspect a lot.
Nevertheless, there are RNG brawls that are fun and still somewhat strategic, and then there's the no fun "just get lucky" variety. Valeera's Bag of Spells, for example, is partially about using your spells efficiently, even though you have no influence on what spells you get and what minions they spit out. Here, on the other hand, you can only hope to get a few playable minions that don't have crap stats, before your opponent does - not so much fun, in my opinion.
So, random brawls are ok, but some are definitely better than others.
You know, it's because soooooo many people whine and cry about everything Blizzard does. Even if you get something free out of it. Blizz just can't win. Ever. People bitch about the tavern brawls, people bitch about the meta or the new expansion theme or the price of the preorders or the cards themselves or the nerfs or the patch or arena or whatever. People will find something to complain about because they are unhappy with their own little lives so they must push the negativity onto others so they can feel good about themselves. Go away, nobody wants to hear your complaint.
There's a difference between a complaint and a question. Sure, the two may have / may not have been included over the course of the post, however it is still a good legitimate request. This is the 5th time this Brawl has been run. It is fun the first couple of times, however the "Replay-ability" is not as high as others. It is a RNG fest, which some like while others don't. It certainly benefits those with limited collection, while others might find it boring comparatively to other brawls. I personally thought his post was a good line of questioning with a little bit of a complaint built in vs. the standard rant of "Got my free pack, one and done" comment.
I get what you are saying. However, it's complaining in general, on every subject, on every forum post, by people every damn day on this website and others like it that is really overdone and exhausting. It's downright ridiculous.
Oh ho! Good one 👍
Still waiting on the Android hotfix.
Well, at least you don't have to build a deck, I guess...
oh.... again this... looovely...
We cannot utilize the public from this site as parameter to the entire Hearthstone playerbase. As already pointed out, this kind of brawls are awesome for players who do not have a large collection and want to farm gold. The RNG makes it less boring than the "create your own deck" brawls, in which there's always one or two dominant netdecks.
Tavern Brawl was the most unnecessary thing in this game... only 1 in 10(or more) is cool enough to play after getting the pack
Uuuuuuuggggghhhhhhhhh
