Bug Fixes and Gameplay Improvements
- Resolved an issue where Echoed spells converted by Lilian Voss would remain “ghostly” and were discarded at the end of turn.
- Resolved an issue where Choose One choices would persist on the board if a player used King Togwaggle to swap decks with the opponent.
- Resolved an issue where Genn Greymane would not trigger in an even deck if Clockwork Giant was in the opening hand.
- Resolved an issue where freezing a Rush minion the turn it was played would cause it to skip two attacks.
- Resolved an issue where the UI would become unresponsive in certain cases when the Windows Game Bar was enabled.
- Resolved an issue where games that ended in a Draw while Rewind is active would create strange behavior.
- Resolved an issue where Skelemancers killed by an end of turn effect would crash iOS devices.
- Resolved an issue with the display of Primordial Glyph and cards that are Discovered.
- [Monster Hunt] Resolved an issue where Vampiric Fangs would heal Heroes based on the printed health of minions instead of remaining health.
- Resolved an issue with Lorewalker Cho’s interaction with Unstable Evolution and cards with Echo.
- Resolved an issue where Weasel Tunneller would cause a deck display issue while in Fatigue.
Then what would the reward system be? What would the point of playing the arena format be? What about the large population of players who don't spend a dime? The pack format allows for consistent revenue while also accommodating the vast majority of the player base. This also keeps costs to the consumer relatively low, as opposed to a lump sum of cash for an entire set that many players may or may not even use. I know I would rather spend 15 bucks for a few packs, and then craft the remaining cards I want for my collection, rather than the entire thing. I believe this is a completely reasonable sales strategy.
Not sure everyone follows what is happening...
First, there were adventures and an expansion every year. Then, it's 3 expansions every year (roughly 150euros if you bought all 3 a year) and next year, with this strategy 400 euros if you buy all expansion packs each year, FOR A VIRTUAL GAME!!!
Let's see if the f2p players all leave and some paying like myself leave the game, and the rich ones have to wait 3min for an opponent. How fun and VIABLE will the game be.
I try and keep some f2p friends engaged to still have fun playing with them, same computer, making some quests, helping and whatnot. Now, where this is going, gonna have to agree with them and change to MTG, at least I have real cards, CHEAPER!!!
Hope they get some sense and this is the fiasco those greedy milking ba$tard$ deserve.
Ben Brode, please return, you're forgiven, you weren't definitively that bad.
400euros a year, in a game....
I like having more expansions each year.
And playing MTG also costs you 400 euros but per deck.
I can't wait to hear interactions between Mecha-Jaraxxus and Jaraxxus card !
When is the midsummer fire festival?
7 August or before?
I don't know which is sweeter: Mecha-Jaraxxus or that lemonade card back. I'm pretty sure licking the former is out of the question, so the latter by default?
The new card back Lemon-Made my day!
This should have about thirty upvotes by now. C'mon, people.
I think I would have bought the mega bundle if it were a hero for another class and if the hero was cooler. Not a big fan of a robot cartoon jarraxus tbh
There are two new card games incoming that look a lot better then HS right now Artifact (The Dota Card Game) and MTG Arena. The competition is rising and what is blizzard doing to please their customers? Well, they nerf cards and don't offer dust refund (Lynessa Sunsorrow, Jungle Moonkin and the others) and, ofc, they have to increase the price of pre-purchase. For me that's another slap in the face, and so, I'll skip any purchase this expansion.
It's just my opinion, don't let it influence you.
dat Lemonade cardback, though
Mechanical Demons pushing Lemonade? What's not to like.
First, the bundle information (first, the money)
Blizzard style.
Yeah, no other company EVER tries to make money. Screw them for that - they should give everything away for free and be embarassed to have charge for their work.
Me too. I wish they'd switched it to two expansions (Feb, August) and two adventures (May, November) per year rather than replacing the adventures. Similar card numbers, better for FTP and more frequent meta changes. Such is life.
Every time an expansion comes out, there's also a PvE element added, like dungeon run and monster hunt. How exactly are you missing anything by them moving to 3 expansions (+3 PvE) every year? Frozen throne and dungeon run were also considerably long, if you take into account beating the Lich King with every character or completing dungeon run with every character.
Have packs went out still haven't got mine
Every time. Every single time anything might cost money, it's out of the woodwork with whiners.
With all the bonus quests, gold, packs and free rewards, it's pretty easy to buy those packs with in game currency and use the extra dust to craft what you did not get.
I play strictly standard and by the time every expansion comes out I get back to around 10k gold and the same amount of dust. So far the game has gotten 0$ from me.
The only way to ever get new players to join is standard rotation. I wouldn't want to join a game where there are over 1,000 cards and it would take me years to gather it all (I've been playing since the closed beta and still don't have a lot of classic cards). Ad yes, Blizzard is a company, and companies need to make money to exist. Shocking, I know.
True. Of course I would want to have more free staff, but hey, there bunch of people working at this game. I suppose every one should have like $600-1500/month. I guess its more complicated then this, but anyway, game is stable supported, and there 3 expansions/year. So just developing of HS costs a lot, and the game should at least reach break-even-point. Also the game should be profitable, and blizzard would not work on the game, that doesn't makes A LOT of money. You know, they got $12.7 millions on just Mercy's skin. Even through it all will go to the charity.
My point is, their games highly oriented on money earning. So no reason to complain really (maybe just a bit). Its overpriced, because it's blizzard. They could do better, but they do good enough for you to play and enjoy the game and do it cheaply enough to earn some money.
A free-to-play games is "overpriced"? Do you idiots even hear yourselves?
