The HearthPwn Card Design Competition Returns for Season 8! Spelling Three
We're back! Our card design competition went on a short break as we usually do after a season concludes but we're back for more design fun.
Entries are open for this week's Card Design Competition! This week's theme is "Spelling Three" and requires you to design a spell which synergizes with certain archetypes.
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
- Your card must be a spell.
- It has to show synergy with one of the three main spell heavy decks, being Big Spell Mage, Spell Hunter and Miracle Rogue.
- Examples include: Counterfeit Coin, Dragon's Fury, and To My Side!
For a full list of the rules, you'll need to enter, head on over to the submission thread. Don't forget, you can only submit one card into the competition and you must submit your card in the submission thread for it to be a valid submission - the news post comments don't work! It should also be noted we have a dedicated thread for you to discuss this week's entries, so if that's your cup of tea, head on over to the discussion thread.

Not again this stuff :(
I mean. A part of the community comes almost solely for the Custom Created content.
Furthermore, we understand that these posts aren't as relevant as most other content, so those posts mainly come up, when there is little other content. Like in these droughts where a new expansion haven't been revealed, and nothing major really seems to be coming up.
By that logic fan art, videos, cosplay etc. should be banned from events for example, since it has "nothing to do with the game" smh ... i get not everyone enjoys this stuff, but this is a very narrow minded statement.
And if you do want to be technical, then this could actually affect someone's game play, since when (if) they research existing cards for proper wordings or interactions etc., they can actually learn something about the game they didnt know :)
I always wish they would keep them off the front page since they have nothing to do with Hearthstone. (If we are getting technical they are Hearthstone-inspired cards but they will never affect anyone’s game play or experience inside the game.)
You know, I've always wondered why these Fan Competition posts on the front page don't get very much attention.
