HCT Summer Championship Stream
next time I will pick up koreans...gg Dog
Hopefully with Pavel, Kolento, and now Dog not going that far recently more of the community won't automatically only vote for popular streamers. There is a difference between doing well as a player who streams and can have near unlimited play time beating people up on ladder and then having a finite number of attempts to win a best of 5 in a tournament.
Popularity won't carry you in a tournament.
So i just realized everyone had a 50% chance to bet on someone that could make it out of group stages. And yet all i see is ppl complaining about the one pack hit streak like myself.
Why?
I'm sitting here trying to all EXCITED AND HYPED WATCHING THESE GUYS PLAY.
Except every fucking turn is a rope turn.
The roping is definitely not ideal for viewers but stakes are definitely high in these quarterfinals. By winning you'll get at least $7,500 during this tournament AND you qualify for world championships where you are guaranteed to get $25,000 just by being there. I myself like to play my games fast, win or lose, but I might also slow down a bit if $30k+ was on the line.
The faster you play the more likely you are to make mistakes. I personally wouldn't risk so much money just to seem cool and play at lightning speed.
With all of these hype for turna, it is looking like he will be the next star to fail.
Sad to see Jinsoo is gonna lose though.
Yep, RIP Turna. Was a painful final game there.
Turna is doing well so far. Glad to see he won his elimination match and has gone through.
When do we get packs? LoL.
Nice Nalgui, there is no longer Dirty Rats to screw you, go!
I only pick jinsoo because he’s Korean. xD
go jinsoo!!!
Follow the poll of Hearthpwn is a demonstrated failure xD
Luckily this time I haven't done it, go go Turna!!! =)
loooooooooool xD
Yes, this is a known issue of our semi-automated group stage tables. It indeed seems to order players based on total wins after match wins instead of taking match losses into account.
gg DOG.
Nice to see that the German HS players both made it to the quarter final. After our football team messed up the world cup this is a well seen development 😉
Really impressed with Bunnyhoppor's plays. I think the pressure got to Dog; he played terrible in his 3 games. Even the casters had a couple of NotLikeThis moments in his games
Duck Fog :(
mmmmm, delicious packless hotDog! :p Go-go, Turna! =)
Cheers for the pack, Dog. Free stuff is always good!
