Blizzard's Off-Meta Deck Spotlight - June 27, 2018
Once again, Blizzard has posted three Legend decks with above average win rates that you should give a go!
Odd Hunter
If “face is the place” then this deck is where it is at! Pan piloted this hyper-aggressive Hunter build across the America servers with outstanding results. Baku the Mooneater brings your hero power damage up from two to three and cards like Blackwald Pixie allow you to take advantage of the damage boost multiple times in a single turn. Hunter’s Mark and Ironbeak Owl help to clear the way and Glacial Shard slows any trades that may look to remove your threats from the battlefield.

Murloc Mage
Guiyze surfed through the America server, with this build that looks to flood the board with fishy friends from this Murloc Mage minion deck! Wanting to overwhelm opponents, this deck’s awesome drawing capabilities, from cards like Book of Specters and Aluneth, paired with the likes of Archmage Arugal, help to keep constant pressure on the battlefield, all while setting up for a Murloc Warleader or Gentle Megasaur to end the game!

Rush Warrior
A modern-day Warrior deck with a mean, mean stride. This Rush style tempo deck brings with it some mean, mean pride. Being able to immediately attack allows for you to always choose favorable trades and keeps up constant pressure until you can close out the game with big plays from Grommash Hellscream or Leeroy Jenkins. Until then, Void Ripper helps to deal with high health taunts, pesky Doomsayers and even adds some surprise burst from Tar Creeper and Acolyte of Pain.

I don’t like any of these decks
Cool story, bro.
Will try warrior. Any ideas how to replace the Scourgelord Garrosh ?
Don't take it as the bible but actually I think that Garrosh serves more as a finisher in this deck, than for control with the new hero power, so I think u can try with an arcanite reaper for the final burst or helping high end target removal.
I actually know the guy who built murloc mage. This is his list from April.
Goddammit, if he wasn't busy with life I would have spammed him with this link.
I never understood Odd Hunter decks that use Blackwald Pixie instead of Clockwork Automaton. You need at least 7 mana to make full use of Pixie, which is as much mana as you need with Automoton, except that Automoton lets you do 6 damage again next turn unless the opponent removes him immediately (and baiting removal is also good). The only benefit I see to Pixie is better resistance to mage secrets, is that why people use her?
You can play Pixie for tempo with vanilla body, while Automaton is way worse in this point. It may not seem like that but it is really a big deal.
better tempo, in a face deck it's a lot more important to play something every turn, and a 3/4 is usually quite hard to get rid of. At the same time it's not a bad topdeck later in the game
Some groovy decks! I had a crack at odd hunter, utilising Clockwork Automatin. Couldn't quite keep up the tempo. Felt like it was missing a little something. Not sure if I abused the Glacial Shards as needed. Might have another crack at it!
Who is a viable option for Leeroy Jenkins?
This Hunter looks like good!!
Reckless Rocketeer, I guess, would be the budget version of Leeroy
Edit : Nevermind if you meant an Odd cost one ...
Then just use the automaton as it can synergise with the pixie and provides 6dmg as Leeroy does (yet only at turn 7, making leeroy much more valuable as you can play him on 5).
Or, maybe even cheaper and better, just use the 3 mana 3/1 charge with a extra heropower to top it off to 6 as well at turn 5.
It's not off meta. It's been played to rank 1 legend and is fairly popular.
is this why i saw like 3 odd hunters yesterday in a dozen games after not having seen one all month?
I would say meta helps them a bit more. People are playing more Warlocks to beat Druids, so other people are playing Hunters to beat Warlocks.
Honestly, can we even say murloc mage is off-meta anymore? I've been seeing loads of them.
Actually really strong against greedy decks of this meta
